Yep the rep said they were allowed to change the amount, its now TWICE what i authorized (BS). So.......i'm not sure what else im going to do besides refuse. I'm not happy with amazon after this.

They said to just refuse it. Looks like the laptop card was out of stock and all my promotions were cancelled due to the sub-$100 total. So thats why some people were probably overcharged. the rep seemed clueless over this whole thing and had to check with her supervisor three times.

I'm calling them to dispute this, this is BS i have to pay 100$ for 2 routers and a PCI Card.

Some peoples orders were actually shipped already today. So i wonder whats going to happen with them.

But i believe the limitation was one per order. But i never saw the ad where that was posted so i dont know how well that argument would hold up. But otherwise i read that if you refuse shipment they will fully refund you.

Glad it worked well for you............but for some reason none of my promotion codes were applied to the routers. Is it safe to call amazon and just say i dont want it and not to waste their money shipping it out?? Or what should i do.

They have now MODIFIED my payment total without my consent to 90$......Do i just not accept the package? I would have thought they would have cancelled the orders seeing if they do overcharge they will have an unhappy return department and would have wasted money on shipping products that are being returned.

Is it even legal for them to change that amount..........i mean i clicked "Place this order" when it said my total was 44.36 .......... not 90$ something.

Would being overcharged be worse than having your order cancelled?? In this case i hope they cancel it rather than ship it seeing as its going to be very hard to get my money back.

What can i do if something bad happens :-\ I used a debit card

The posts on FW are starting to sound a bit scary because it sounds like they are charging people the full price and now seeing you cant cancel.........this may be a big hassle.

I dont think you can exchange with a photocopy.........but i know most of the stores i went today automatically printed off a gift reciept along wit hall the other paper. So just give the gift reciept with it and then they should be able to exchange it.

Yeah........at least my payment total still says 44.36............i will not be a happy person if they decide to raise the price to their seperate totals. But i dont think they can since i only agreed to pay 44.36
