  1. I'm looking to get a new phone for my Cingular family plan line (as my current one is not very good and is about to die on me). However my parents (people who pay for my service) seem not to want me to get a 2-year agreement (for whatever reason, I don't know why) but they would be fine with a 1-year agreement. Are there any places (online, instore, whatever) that have decent deals on Cingular phones available with a 1-year contract, since (of course) phones without a contract are rather expensive? Any advice appreciated - thanks!
  2. Wal-Mart: Minority Report DVD $3.50ish (PMed to BB $3.99 and I was told it was actually cheaper), Simpsons Season 6 DVD PMed to CC (forgot price)

    Staples: Maxtor 200GB HD $30 AR, 50-pk DVD-R $3 AR, Canon 50-pk photo paper $3

CompUSA: APC 350VA UPS $20 AR, Wi-Fi router $3 AR

Office Depot: Targus laptop keypad $2 AR

PC Club: Trendnet USB Wi-Fi adapter FAR, free 10-pk DVD-R

Best Buy online: World of Warcraft $24.99 (paid entirely with Best Buy Bucks)

Great BF for me this year! I'm probably going to get some more stuff online with my remaining BBB's.

  4. I thought ipods were set at a price by apple? From what I heard, the stores don't make much of a profit on them.

Yes, you probably won't see too huge of a deal on iPods on Black Friday (or at any time for that matter.)

  5. I used about 30 last year buying the 50-pk of DVD+Rs - went through just fine (including the rebate.) Unfortunately many BB's are supposedly putting extra restrictions on the use of them (read the thread on Fatwallet forums.)
