I can't imagine working that day let alone sleeping in!

I don't have my plan yet, have started it, but it changes daily.

Pensacola Fl is supposed to be nice, chilly in the morning - 40's but in the afternoon the temps are supposed to be mid 70's!

I always check BB and Target first. Never have made it to WM for the early sales, too crazy in there.

I usually go to BB, but it closer to the normal shopping route that I take on BF. Seemed like they had some good prices last year, even after the mad dash was over. Guess I really haven't wanted anything on the DoorBusters to get there that early, usually go to Target first and then BB.

I have been to Home Depot on BF and got some pretty good deals on tools.

I have never gone to WalMart for the DoorBuster sales on BF. I might end up there later in the day, but never been there waiting in line to get in.

If I am not mistaken, Target had a 22 pack for about 10.00.

I bought myself a camcorder and started using it today. Got to learn how to use it before Christmas. Also got myself a pair of shoes and I am already wearing those. I think I did more shopping for myself than I did on my Christmas list.

I did one of the Best Buy rebates online, which was great. Wish all rebates were that easy. Then put 2 more in the mail today. Have one item that I purchased for someone else so I am going to let him deal with his own rebate.

I left my house about 5:45 and got to Target at 6:00 am, then to Best Buy, Old Navy, Shoe Carnival, Bells, Shoe Station, TJ Maxx and home by about 5:00 pm.

What a great day of shopping. Was at Target when the doors opened at 6:00 am, very crowded and took a little while to get inside. Got the Kodak Easyshare for 89.99 Kodak 128MB SD Card for 15.99 Samsung D353 Mini DV Camcorder for 279.00 then a free 80.00 Target Gift Card Kicking and Screaming and Robots DVDs for 8.88 each And numerous other things, plus got 13% off total purchase. Looking online today and found a rebate for 25.00 for the Samsung Camcorder, so I paid 138.00 plus tax for the Camcorder. I think this was by best deal. After leaving Target went to Best Buy. Got: PNY 1GB Flash Drive Original 109.99 for 39.99 with the 70.00 instant rebate and then 20.00 MIR final price of 19.99 6 Mini DV Tapes for 24.99 and then a 10.00 MIR final price 14.99 SanDisk Memory Stick PRO Duo 39.99 less 10.00 MIB All in all it was a really good shopping day! Come on BF 2006!

I have shopped alone on BF many times, not as fun as if you have your best friend, but it is still SHOPPING.

My favorite day off, have to use a floating holiday, but I wouldn't miss it. About 20 years ago (telling my age) I though that I would try and work, but only made it until 9:00 am, had to shop. I think my boss is planning on me working this year, but that is not going to happen. There is no way that I could stand to be at work while everyone else is getting all the deals.
