The Kmart at One Penn Plaza in Manhattan had all Christmas merchandise 75% off on Monday, December 31. (I bought a couple of rolls of wrapping paper.)
I bought a wreath for the front door that I can use untill the Spring for $6.00. Also got alot of blue snowman decorations.

This in our list. 14 days without power was not nice. I'm looking at 6000 watt.

I've always gone by myself. It wasn't bad at all, for the most part everyone on line is friendly. It's not something my family and friends think I'm nuts to go out every year.
-
I don't know if it's still on but on Saturday all the adult clearance was an extra 30% off.
-
I was thinking the same thing. Maybe because my kids are all grown up now, but the only things I am finding are things for the house (comforters, mattress pads, etc) that need to be replaced and waiting for the Lowes & Home Depot ad for my kitchen appliances.
Same here. Being that my 2 DD are 17 & 20 there isn't much to buy- except for UGG boots which never go on sale. I think I'll be looking in the household sections myself.

Congrats to the winners!
Do we have re-enter for the next contest?

Long Island, New York. What I would give to do Black Friday in the warm weather! So jealous of you southerners!

Hate them! Loved it when Target opened at 6 a.m. I would get there 2 hours early and get everything I wanted while most people were at the other stores. Even last year when they opened at 4 a.m. people were lining up the night before. That I don't do.

Searching the ads online weeks before, then getting the flyers a few days before looking for the great deals. The excitement and good natured people you meet while waiting on lines, wether they be in or outside the store. I love carrying all the bags to the car trying to fit everything in the trunk.
Just a fun weekend to start the season!!

I received mine yesterday also. It's nice ... worth about the 100 bucks It cost me.

I received an email regarding "shipment delay notification"
JCPenney would like to thank you for your recent purchase on jcp.com. We want to make you aware that a change in the availability for your item has forced a later delivery date. To ensure that you receive your purchase in time for Holiday gift giving your purchase will be shipped overnight, at no additional cost to you. The new ship date is December 22, 2010 :)
Sounds like there is still hope:) crossing fiingers
I got the same e-mail. If it comes, it comes doesn't matter to me.

Exactly. That's a good price for the knock-offs!
-
Thank you! I was waiting for this to start, I got some great deals last year.
Although I did very well at the outlet last weel also.
-
I used NEXTORDER20 last night for 20% off.
-
I bought some at 6:30 and some were sold out already.
If anyone has a D & B outlet store they were going for about the same price in the store.
-
Are there any codes that are working today?
-
My Target pulled the TV and the camera already.
-
Is the store open today?
-
Maybe to order the Kodak cameras on line at Target with a 10% discount.
I still got them.
After arriving at Best Buy at 4 a.m. with easily 300 people on line,
I went to Target where I was 6th in line!
It was a fun and successful day!

I'll be shopping for a 60 inch. Just started looking, actually hope I could get a good deal right before Black Friday.
A few years ago I did at Walmart for a smaller TV a week before Black Friday. ( Our Walmart is terrible that day)
