  1. Hadn't seen these posted -

    ### 008-09-0593 Magnavox 19inch HDTV with DVD 60% off $110.64

    ### 204-00-0148 Lego Spongebob 50% off $19.99

    ### 08-008-0700 HP external DVD writer 75% off $21.24

Can't believe I bought things for less than 75% off but I knew I'd miss them otherwise! Plus, with the 2 Pixar Blu-Ray's for $11, I had a great day!

Thanks for posting about the spongebob lego's. No clearance signs but rang up $19.99 from $39.99. Good xmas gift! Much appreciated!

  2. Once I placed an item in my cart I got the following message from my computer:

Safari can't verify the idenity of the website www.longabergerhomesteadstore.com

The certificate for this website was signed by an unknown certifying authority. You might be connecting to a website that is pretending to be www.longabergerhomesteadstore.com, which could put your confidential information at risk. Would you like to connect to the website anyway?

I said no. Now i'm afraid to order from them.

Has anybody had any previous experience with this site or is the link correct?

  3. So I was ready about a Tivo a couple days ago and it sounded good until I saw a line that went like this:

80 hours of SDTV or 20 of HDTV

So would that mean that after the switch in February I could only get 20 hours out of my Tivo? If so than this doens't sound too great of a deal. I think it was at Best Buy on sale this week.

What I think that means is:

you would get 80 hours of non-hdtv - you can still record and watch it but it wouldn't be in hd - just standard plus you'd also get 20 hours of the hd storage. A total of 100 hours of storage. (if I understand this correctly)

I haven't purchased one yet. I can't decide on which one. Now I keep looking at the Tivo site and love the prices on the reburbished ones but if they are refurbished I do not want a lemon so i'm scared that is what will happen so I haven't pulled the trigger on that!

  4. I need help! Someone posted about a refurbished deal on www.tivo.com and it sounds like the perfect gift for my dh but I'd love to hear what you'all think about it. Do you have a DVR? Do you recommend TIVO? Any other deals I should be looking for? How hard is it to install? We have an HD tv so I think we'd need a cablecard decoder.

Is this easy to set up?

Any help would be much appreciated! I'd love to hear your thoughts and recommendations!

    Thank you!

  5. Only bought one item today. A Nintendo DS premium carry case with goodies for $12.49 50% off. I went in to buy the ds clear screen covers and they were $9.99 a package. What I bought comes with a black carry case, charger stand, retractable ear buds, car adapter, 2 screen covers, stylis pen and a cleaning cloth. It might have more that is just off the top of my head.

None of the video games were marked down any lower.

I did see the carpet squares at 50% off now

  6. I bought the frog Photkiz for my son before xmas and loaded it up with pictures. It has a softwear disc included and cable that is very easy to use. Took only a few minutes and I think I could put up to 40 pictures on it. It was a huge hit! He brings it with him to show people his grandma, his pets, friends, etc. It's not cheap stuffed toy.

I paid $34.99 so at $9 it's a steal! We love it and haven't had to change the batteries yet.

Go grab them! Worth the $:yup:

  7. Is everyone finding that the stepping stone kits are 75% off? I passed over a bunch of them because they were not marked clearance at all, but I'm thinking maybe I should go back and scan...

yes, those black sets are called Color Explosion and I called them Color Wonder in one of my posts by mistake. My kids actually love those better than CW - they call them "rainbow drawing."

Yep the stepping stones are 75% off now too. Rung up at $2.something

  8. I went to my local Target today..to pay credit card bill:no: and I had to do my perimeter

peruse. There was not much there but I did find a Homedics Sound Premium Spa clock radio

it was red tagged at $24.98 but it rang up $6.48:yup: It has 6 nature sounds and it even

projects the time on the ceiling in large numbers and it even has an indoor, outdoor built

in thermometer and remote and it automatically does the time with the atomic time

satellite. It is quite a cool little gadget and well worth the money. The price tag shows that

the original price was $49.99. I checked it all out and it works fine...wonder if it was a

    online return?

I have this clock and LOVE it! Got as a xmas gift! That is an awesome price!

  9. Me too! Mine is on the 27th. To this day I get birthday gifts wrapped in Christmas paper and all my life people combine gifts. Handing you one gift and saying Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday like they are the same and when I say that I mean not spending any more then they would on one holiday. Let's see. Not having a cake because you are so sick of sweets by the time your birthday arrives. Oh I could go on and on...............................
