  2. You know what I'm so sick and tired of Walmart and their secret ads. The crazy thing is when they come out there is nothing exciting about it. If there is something worth your while, you won't get it unless you wait at the store 2 days ahead of time because they only have 2 in stock. So if I may, let me write a short letter to WM to voice my concerns:

    Dear Walmart,

I have seen the ads for Target and Toys R Us and have already planned accordingly. People need to know about sales ahead of time, so that they can plan financially. If you keep holding out on your ads and making everything a secret you are going to miss out. On Sunday, my day will go as follows:

    1. Pass local Walmart, pass Target, to get to Toys R Us for their gift cards with purchase offers that I saw in their leaked ads.

    2. Head home, go to Target I passed up and pick up their great sales offers that are already in their regular sunday ads (in my opinion Target can beat most prices when their items are on sale, keyword: on sale)

    3. Stop by Walmart after I've spent all of my money to pick up deodorant (with coupon) for my husband.

Oh and another thing please, stop making your rollbacks 3 cents less than the previous price, it's annoying. Thank you.

    :sidesplit:rotflol::giggle: Hilarious! And so true!!

  3. I bet not recieve a brown tote bag. I only bought it to give the sewing machine away asa gift for christmas. I will be highly upset. :jump3::chairshot:gdangry4::curse::gdangry3::gdcensored::gdfight::splat:

Well, it seems that they have plenty of the machines on hand, they're just not "free" anymore (item# 1554-34211-1224).

Some people I know did receive the sewing machine and they said it was small and ok. What is weird is that you can go on the website and order the sewing machine for $29....so they are in stock. I just wonder why they are substituting them if they have them in stock. Sounds like they are just trying to give away a cheaper gift so they are not out so much money!! :~(

Good luck on not getting the dreaded tan bag!;)

  4. I got the silicone, just so that I could get the free sewing machine. My sister in law likes sewing and I am hoping the quality is good. This will be her Christmas present. Total with shipping $11.49

I ordered the silicone set and the free sewing machine on 10-29-09. Yesterday, I received a shipping notice from BrylaneHome listing that both were shipped with a UPS tracking #. When I arrived home, I had indeed received the silicone set, but there was no sewing machine. They took the liberty of substituting the machine for a tan-colored, micro-fiber tote bag:yuck:. Just giving everyone a heads up!:gdangry3:

  5. There are 2 types of Staples rewards card - one's for regular customers and one for teachers. I have the teachers reward card and with it shipping is always free. With the regular customer one, I don't think it is. Hope that helps.

OHHHH! Now it makes sense. I am not a teacher, and therefore my rewards membership is not qualified for free shipping (unless I spend $50), no matter how I enter it during checkout. Thanks for clearing that up for those of us who are not teachers.;)

  6. They are wrong. This is what I did.

Place the tray in your cart and go through the checkout process.

When you get to the Review/Submit order page look where it shows your Staples Rewards #.

    Click on edit.

On the next page erase your rewards # and click continue.

Now you should be back to the Review Order page.

Look for where it says Staples Customer Number [it is highlighted in purple]

    Click on Add Number.

Enter your number on the next page and then click continue.

You will be back to the Review/Submit order page and the shipping charge should be 0.00.

The only thing I noticed was that the tax showed higher than what it should have been on the submit order page. But I was actually charged the correct tax when I received my order.

    HTH

I just tried this, and the shipping charge is still showing $9.95. Maybe you've got a premium rewards number that you are unaware of or you're just special or something.

  7. If you bought the stuff when it was 50% off, they do price adjuments! I just e-mailed them what I needed adjustments on.....I'll get $15 back!

That's good to hear. I ordered a sweater dress yesterday for $19.99 and now it's $9.99. I just sent them an email for my price adjustment, so we'll see how it goes.

  8. It appears that some things on their site have been discounted further today. Im not sure if they give price adjustments or not, but you may want to check it out.

    According to their webiste:

"We offer a one-time price adjustment if an item is marked down within fourteen (14) days of the date on your invoice. To obtain a price adjustment on an online purchase, you MUST call 1-800-OLD-NAVY (1-800-653-6289), option 1, or send us an email message at [email protected] within the fourteen- (14) day window."

I ordered a sweater dress yesterday for $19.99 and now it's $9.99. I sent an email this morning, so we'll see how it goes...;)

  9. So what is everyone getting? ;)[/b]

I really need to stop checking this website!;) I picked up:

Item# 1034867: Embroidered 3/4 Sleeve Tunic in Olive for $4.58

Item# 1244391: 2-Piece Fringed Skirt Set in Plum for $9.18

    Sales Tax was $1.31

    Shipping was $4.95

    TOTAL $20.02

These items were in clearance and I used the $15 off $25 code from this thread.

    Thanks GottaDealers!!:D
