  1. I there a place other then eBay to get Pampered Chef stuff at a discounted price? My wife and I ran into some lady at our local YMCA who was trying to sell us a paring knife. My wife fell in love with it but I said no since it was so expensive for such a little knife. I'd like to get her the knife for Christmas but I don't want to pay retail(that's why i'm here at gottadeal.com).

From what I remember the knife was a 3 inch paring knife, forged or something and also had a little black plastic case that covered the blade.

    Any ideas?

  2. My Staples did great! My wife and I went at midnight and there were only two people in line so we lined up with them. By 2 am there were at least 25 people in line. At 3 am the first two employees arrived, 4 am the manager and a few more employees arrived. 5 am there were about 60 people in line and the rest of the employees arrived. 5:30 am they handed out tickets and explained where to go and to pick up the ticketed items by 8 am. I couldn't have been happier when they came outside to hand out tickets because it was 33 degrees and my feet were getting numb.

My only complaint was with their free printer deal with the purchase of any computer. The manager said they were sent 30 computers but only 12 printers. It would have been nice if everyone who bought a computer could have gotten a free printer.

  3. LOL... I needed to pick up some soap and a couple of other non BF type items, so off to wallys I went. I had time to spare so I cruised the outer perimeter - lo and behold - nearly every "special" item was still in stock. Even most of the big electronics still had 5 or 6 on the pallet.

Guess Wallys (at least here) didn't have all that big of big sale day.:D

It was the same here in York, PA. Walmart wasn't busy at all compared to all of the other stores. The first thing that my wife and I thought was that it looked like any other average day at Walmart. Pretty much every door buster was still in stock. Employees were just standing around with nothing to do. I'm thinking(or maybe wishing) that most Walmarts didn't do all that well today.

  4. Although I did go to Walmart this morning for 1 thing that wasn't on AD, I did get a very nice chuckle out of the fact that WALMART was DEAD. At 5:30am they had cashiers standing around doing NOTHING at all. Last year at that time there would've been lines wrapped around for every cashier. Not this year. Got there at 4:45 and out by 5:30 after looking around to see an abundance of everything still available at my local Walmart in the DFW area of Texas. :D

Same thing here in York, Pennsylvania. Walmart was dead.

  5. You should have called Walmart on their bluff, I would have. Their ad sucks anyway, Targets is WAY better.

I think almost every other ad is better then Walmart's. Walmart usually had some good stuff that gets me to their store at some point on BF but not this year.
