  1. Thats why we get in and get out and move on. We've been known to go back later after the madness and shop at that same store again when the lines are died down to pick up the extras we saw and wanted.

After I get my doorbusters and I don't have that rush to get to the next store by a certain time, I don't mind the lines, it's part of BF and I've made some new friends by spending 60 min sitting and chatting with them!

  2. Went to Target today and they had the Hanes girls socks marked down to $1.87 a package and there was a coupon on the package for $.50 off making them only $1.37 for 7 pairs of socks! Also got 10 pack of panties for girls for $2.77 and the 3 pack of under tanks for $2.34.

Cat bed for $4.98 (orig. 19.99)

Disney Camp Rock Stationary Set for $1.98 (orig. $7.99)

Not super great finds, but things we needed and was nice not to pay full price for!

  3. American Girl stuff is in for that age group, but it's pricey.

Ipods, digital cameras, manicure/pedicure sets, Purses, Hair stuff/equipment, CD's, Guitar Hero, Limited Too stuff, Libby Lou's stuff. A bike, new bedroom stuff.

That's some of the stuff my girls asked for. Along w/ trips to places like Build A Bear, etc.

  4. For me--last year--one store on Thanksgiving day messed up and had those 79.99 leapster things out for 9.99---they honored the price for two of us that was told that price. Well, found out grandparents already bought one, went to take it back---they gave me 79.99 for it---I explained about the mix up on Thanksgiving morning and she thought I was crazy and said it shows for 79.99 and thats the lowest price it was. So thats what she gave me back--I was able to buy a Game Boy system for $10 instead. That was the best deal!

    Hallmark: (this store was crazy!!)

    Peppermint cocoa for $5

    Nativity set for $30

I know Im leaving stuff out--and my car by noon was too full to do anymore shopping---my trunk, entire back seat and passenger seat was stuffed!!!!

  6. Hmmm----ok--heres my list:

19 in Mickey Mouse TV for $29.98 (Sears price mistake that CC honored)

$14.99 Video Now XP from the 12 days of Christmas

    $65.00 Sting Ray OCC Bike

    $10 Cabbage Patch Doll

    $20 Gameboy Advance SP

Actually---everything i bought for Christmas turned out to be a good buy!!! I bought everything i wanted for half the cost!!!

  7. I love Circuit Citys Customer Service in the store. When Sears had the Mickey Tv priced at $29.99 and wouldnt honor--I took the online print out to Circuit City---the sales guy kept saying "we dont honor online prices" and the whole time he is muttering that, the manager was ringing mine and my friends Mickey Tv up for $29.99!!!!!!!!!!!! SO needless to say---they now have a loyal customer while Sears lost one!
  8. Ok---my brother just informed me that Mom wants one of those Under the Counter Stereos for Christmas. Nothing fancy--just something simple that she can listen to her Cd's as she cooks.

As we are both done w/ our shopping, we are tempted to just "pretend" we didnt hear the hint. But being the great kids we are :cheesy: we would like to be able to just add this in and not spend alot on it. Preferrably less than $80 total. Is this possible?

Can anyone point to where I should go and pick this up if the price is doable? I dont have much time to research and figured your opinions were better anyway!!!

    Thanks all!!!!

  9. We just bought one last night---we paid $33--its 7 ft and absolutely beautiful--my fav. tree yet (will have to post a pic of it!!! ;) ) I did notice it ranged from $15 up to $80 w/ the Blue Spruce and the Fraser firs being the highest priced. Last year we had the softer kind but all the ornaments kept falling off---so we went w/ the typical poinky christmas tree!!!
