Does anyone know this question? I will be willing to be that the newspaper printers don't actually print the "big-dog" ads such as Target, Wally, etc.
Just wondering if anyone had any insight on how the newpaper people receive these ads to insert on Turkey day.

I have a feeling that your son got shafted. I don't see how he couldn't get holiday pay if he worked it no matter how long he had been there. I think they got away not paying some extra $$$ to a well-deserved individual.

Like I have always said and will continue to say......I don't see how it takes a company to take 12 plus weeks to process a rebate when it doesn't take but 30 seconds (or less) for them to pull the entire purchase price, which includes the rebate amount, off of my credit card? I don't shop for items that have rebates and refuse to purchase anything that has rebates. I don't agree with the turn-around process in getting your money back, it's ridicoulous (sp). I won't do it.

The employees that usually work the weekend, are part-time and aren't 'clued-in' by their Dept Mgrs, or even upper-management about these events or what to do about them. Most of the time they have the part-time people on registeres because they don't have enough cashiers to cover the lines that back up so the event that was suppose to happen in the departments basically goes on and makes Wal-Mart look like a joke. Why do they even bother having these 'special events' if they can't have someone (people) dedicated to make sure it is well-advertised, controlled, and enjoyed? I remember when I used to work at WM, these things would happen, but we were clueless about them because no one knew what to do. It was embarrassing to say the least.

sorry guys i got into a car accident couple days ago things have been a little crazy the picture of the flyer for old navy black friday is on my phone and its not letting me transfer it, but it doesnt say whats on sale, its just a flyer for the mp3 player, i will only know excatly whats on sale once we get our pricing in for next week i can tell you it says 50 percent off cashmere fleece and denim. sorry for the dissapointment, and the mp3 player is the samsunge pebble very nice mp3 player, my store got 200 of them in, it says varies on store 50-200 mp3 players. I will let all you know when i know excactly whats on sale as soon as i do, promise.

just saw the ad, well actually a flyer lol It has the picture about the mp3 giveaway and this year its a real one not a knock off its a samsung didn't grab its product number but its round and looks like a cookie. the flyer also says 50 percent off select cashmere fleece denim and sleepwear. the mp3 players are real nice might have to put one away for me lol just kidding I hav a picture of the ad just if the admins could tell me how to post it thanks
By any chance were kids (boys) clothes listed? I am really hoping that performance fleece, jeans, etc. are on this year's ad. I am SERIOUSLY thinking about making ON my first stop this year just for the great deals they have.

I, personally, can't wait to see the ON BF ad, cause went there last year and got some GREAT deals on performance fleece for my nephews and really REALLY hope they are doing it again this year. Please post whatever deals you know about----it sure will help me out and I'm sure others also.

For me, leave the house at 3:00 to be at (maybe WalMart but who knows)...5:00 a.m.

I wasnt' really impressed with the ad that WalMart presented. The television they had wasn't really all that because, IMO, the contrast ration could have been better. 800:1 just isn't all that, but again, just a thought. I was hoping that more toys would have been in it.

Just seems like by this time last year that there were a lot more ads. I know that there is an area on here to see what came out when but maybe I'm either excited as heck to see them or they are on schedule...anyone else feel the same?

I am so thankful to be working for my state so that we get Turkey Day and BF off this year---and the weekend. I am also going to take off the day BEFORE Turkey Day to make it a 5 day weekend---I'm so excited!! :-)
