  1. Thanks!!
  2. Just sad that someone would stoop so low. This kind of ignorance does not help our issue at all and in fact, makes all of us look bad! Thanks Brad for the explanation.
  3. Well since we moved here a year ago, we do about 90% of our shopping at walmart. So adding up on an estimation of about $100 a week in groceries (5200 a year), $25 a week (1300 a year) in pullups and paper items, about $1,000 in clothing a year and about $1000+ on BF and/or Christmas season. I have no problem now going to Kroger or Food city to do my grocery shopping, and I will drive the extra 40 minutes to get to target for everything else! My money doesn't matter to them so I will take my money with me!! Good riddens Walmart!
  4. Do not have to work until 3 p.m. Friday, so I can take a little nap.
  5. I will too. There are many other stores out there and I have no problem taking my money elsewhere. I rely on this early information to decide where I am going to shop. I usually go to walmart first, but now......... I think they are causing themselves some really negative publicity. I would think they would want to shout what their GREAT deals would be, but that is just my opinion! I am contacting walmart today!! Edited: I just emailed them and I will call them when I settle down a bit. I just cannot tell you how pi$$ed I am over this whole thing. I do so much shopping at walmart (probably 95% including groceries and all), mainly because of the convienence of having it very close by. I think now is a good time to give my hard earned money to some other places. It may not be a big deal to a big corporation like walmart but it is to me. I understand they are a business but they really should think about the consumers in a situation like this. I don't think they understand just how important this early information is to most of us...or just don't care maybe.
  6. I did this and I got it right away. Maybe their servers are busy or something?
  7. Hasbro.com usually runs a promotion every year they have the promo of 25% off and free shipping. This is when I get all of DD's littlest pet shop stuff. I hope they have it again this year!! It is way cheaper than in the store! this was the thread from last year. http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=49385&highlight=hasbro.com
  8. Just wanted to say thanks again. we got two ties with shipping for less than $10. one tie was 0.51 and the other was 5.50. THANK YOU!!!!!!
  9. the adult ones are great too. My dad's chemo doctor loves wild and weird ties. his patients give them to him. this will be perfect for the holidays. THANKS!!!
  10. Our kmart store does not like to run their ac. they put fans through the store. I love going to kmart when they have the good deals going on but I usually have to fight for things in the sale paper. the majority of the time they do not have them, or they do not put them out and they have to try to find them in the back. it usually results in a "give me your number and we will call you if we find them." Bugs me, but I keep going back. I cannot resist getting shirts for 2 or $3 bucks, but I do not go in with high expectations anymore. This way I am less stressed when I leave. DD wanted to try clothes on in the fitting room recently. of course no one was at the counter, so we tried the door. It was locked. found someone to call someone else and an associate came out through the fitting room all mad and scolded us that the fitting room doors were unlocked. um, no they were not. what the heck was she doing back in the fitting room? LOL!! I have complained with nothing mattering to anyone so I just don't care anymore. I browse, find my bargains, pay and leave. LOL. Sorry for the rant. Thanks for posting about the secret sale. I hope they have some good stuff. I rely on those jewelry bargains for gifts for women in the family. I am on my way to sign up now.
  11. Not to completely threadjack but we do not even have a target!! CAN YOU IMAGINE!!! We moved from Florida (where we had 3 in a 5 mile radius) to Tennessee. the closest target is an hour away! I have been emailing them for a year, since we moved here, and I just keep getting the same email that they are expanding in other areas. UGH!!! I did get to go to a Target in Chattanooga today because we had to pick up our oldest boy and they had some good deals but nothing we really needed. I was just so happy to be in the target that I wanted to buy it all! LOL! DH wouldn't let me. we did get a bissell flip-ease marked down to $23 from $50 (072-07-0236). We wanted one of these for our hardwood floors. Lots of girls clothes marked down to 2 to $3. Toys were only 30% though. I was hoping for some good deals on toys but no dice. Happy perusing everyone!
  12. The $20 resort fee is for the really great amenities that they have. Like the "water park" type pool area. It is awesome!

  23. Yep, that time of the year is really good. The only time you have to watch in October is Columbus day. Most of the counties in Florida have that as a school holiday and that is when many who have Florida passes go. We were one of them and it was pretty crowded. But end of Sept and first week of Oct. is good because everyone is back in School up north by then! :)
