I have looked at the SEAGATE 400GB PATA ST3400632A-RK. It's 109.99 at outpost.com I think with the price & the warranty this would be a better choice.

Scott - Have had good luck with Maxtor. Have not had too good of luck with WD. mrn8 - I must say the price is tempting How long is the warranty period on that drive?

Looking for a good deal on a Maxtor hard drive. Looking for at least 300GB. Needs to be PATA or IDE interface. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)
