Shoot - great deal - just nowhere to be found in hockey country!

Got the Dishwasher ordered from Sears..... ugh, that doesn't look exciting in print.

2 degrees when the early openings come around, with a -18 windchill, high of 17 for the day, expecting 2-4" of white and fluffy.... awesome.

I can vouch that it was a really great experience with finish line and the product, both my dad and brother-in-law loved their sweatshirts here. They wear 'em all the time.

This is going to make for good entertainment. The little shopping area directly West of us has a SuperWalmart on the north side of the road, an Office Max south of it, a Target across the highway, and a gas station that is certain to make a mint on caffeinated beverages directly in-between.... Me.... I shall be at Menards!

Or, if you have a Wii, they have Nascar Kart where they have several drivers in - it's basically a 'real world' sim of Mario Kart with the tracks, drivers, and unlockable content - but my two boys love it.

Is it too vague to say "lack of common courtesy" - the things I've seen people do to save $10 on a toy/item that will be discarded by the middle of January. Somebody touched on it earlier in the thread - the philosophy has changed, crowds are more rude, almost angry, in their pursuit of their targets now.

Moorhead, MN / Fargo, ND - (yes, just like the movie.... )

neboo - we hunters asked for this weather for the Pheasant opener tomorrow - I'll be huntin' north of you in the Wilton/Washburn area.
I've been out there for Black Friday though - if it's miserable, Kirkwood is a decent place to shop in the early morning.
-
We might be isolated here, but I've seen Wii's in Target, Walmart, Kmart, and Sears in the past week - right in store.
-
Kinda depends on the available deals - and the economy, if I'm still getting paid every two weeks, maybe a bit more, but we're in "wait and see" mode (that's the pessimist in me)

Dilworth, MN:
Thursday Night: A slight chance of snow before midnight, then a chance for flurries. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 20. Northwest wind between 9 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 32. Northwest wind 7 to 9 mph becoming southwest.
I say CRAP, if it's going to be that warm, we'll have a bunch of people to contend with.

on Monday night, around 7:30pm, we saw 3 tents at the Fargo, ND Best Buy

Must prevent my wife from seeing this....... I'll be penniless

If we've not had much snow - I'm guessing it'll be the Grand Caravan (minivan) if we've had snow, then it's the 1976 Jeep Cherokee Wagoneer.... comes in very handy for parking in snowbanks (and exiting them) and if somebody hits me in the parking lot, she won't feel a thing.

According to Accuweather.com we're looking at a high of 37 for the day, which would make the 5am temp around 18 or so, with their "reel feel" at 11 degrees. if it gets up to 37 that day, it'll be a madhouse around here, people everywhere enjoying the balmy late November temps.

I'm guessing with what I saw yesterday, that the crosley turntable/CD/Tape player and Guitar Hero III for all platforms will also be on sale. Along with a Memorex DVD player that I noticed in MASS quantities above the aisles.

I bought an Aussie Deluxe at Menards a couple years ago for about $70 or so, nothing superfantastic, but I can fit a couple dozen burgers on it at a time.

Well Minnesota = flippen cold...I'm so use to it that I don't mind it. I just hope that morning it doesn't snow cuz it really sucks driving in snow. The last couple years there really hasn't been a whole lot of it on the ground on BF...
Not sure where in Minny you are - but I can agree, we've been 'relatively' snow free the last 2 black fridays, but, usually it's about 15 and cold, so you don't notice the lack of snow

Shop, regroup, get second wind, shop, go to my folks' or my in-laws house for leftovers and football watching. (and naps!)

Hey all - Brad from the nether-regions of NW Minnesota here. I dig the finding deals (so the wife doesn't spend as much!!) but on Black Friday, I'm pretty much the muscle and the reach for the sought after items, 6'2" 215, with a freakish 7' wingspan comes in handy.
Where will you be Black Friday shopping this year? Add yourself to interactive map!
