She probably has played a DS or a DSi from her friends but she doesn't have anything. I do know that you can adjust the 3D and even turn it off so that might help her. I am not going to let her play it at a store unless she does it without me knowing. When she first told me that she wanted one (she actually wants a DSi) I told her flat out NO. But I have been doing research on it and I am going to get her one.
We have been doing the Dave Ramsey Money Makeover for the past 2 years, off and on and we HAVE to save money up starting during the summer. My Son's birthday is Nov. 26 and then we have Christmas and then my Daughters is Jan. 13. We usually try to get at least one big money present for Christmas for them both and then little stuff. 2 years ago it was bikes fro both of them (paying cash that we had saved up) and for my DD's birthday it was a 250.00 Doctor Who TARDIS birthday cake (about 2' high, 3-D version). We wouldn't have been able to do any of that if we hadn't saved up.
Chris has a little doo-dad from work that is a dial and has all the months and you can pick a starting date and find out how many weeks away another date is. It comes in handy when trying to save up weekly.
LOVE Dave Ramsey. Works like a Charm. :) My son just got his 3DS for his Birthday. He doesn't play the 3D part often but it can be turn off or adjusted to a lower setting. Rayman 3DS is a sweet game that him and I both play in 3D and it does not give us a headache. We have had DS, Dsi, DSiXL and now the 3DS. I by FAR think the 3DS is the best one yet. If you do decide to get her a DSi I would suggest the XL because the screen is bigger and easier to view!

Went last night. Got some mini tech deck stuff, 1.74 and the sets were 3.74! WWE Legends figures, 3.74 Bakugon figure 4.98, and there was tins for 6.98 but I didn't get those. Thomas the Train 101 piece mega blocks set, 12.48!!! Hot Wheels monster truck set, 4.98. Flix Trik Carry Case, 3.74
I also picked up a Loving Family Dining Room because there was only one at 50%, so 6.48. The Houses were 50% too at 12.48. Other then that I made a list of what I want next week and will go from there. :)

I bought a ton of stuff these past few days at Target.
My best deals were the TV for 62.xx, the Knives I have been stalking forever 37.xx and a Hoover Steamcleaner for 64.xx!
I also got Loving Family, Mom and Toddler, Dad and Kid, Gpa and something... 1.98 75%
4pk Master Locks 75% for 4.48
Skateboarding wall decals for 3.48
Tons of frames for 1.24 and 1.48, Also the fancy glass ones were down to 1.98
Got a Yoshi Chain purse thing from way back when the bulk section was there, it rang up INF, the cashier asked how much, I said 90% would have been .62 cents. :) He said ok.

Yesterday I got a Hoover SteamVac Display for $62.50, Wasn't happy that it was a display but happy that I got one! The the chair foot pads, furniture felt pads, painting supplies, extension rods and bumpers things were all 75% off. I got a step stool also 75% off, $2.62.
All the Character Long Sleeve Boys shirts were 2.48, 75% off. There was Lego and Diary of a Wimpy kid at Center Rd Target.
I seen GPS's Garmin and TomTom for 30%. The Canon camera I wanted is gone:( And they are still only 30% Ugh.
Kitchen Appliances and other stuff is between 30-50%. I did see a knife set I want for 50%, But I want to pay 75%.... :)

No movement this morning at the Center Rd Target. Went to Miller Rd and saw one of those pizza ovens for $9.98 or something like that (75%0ff) The 3 crockpot things went 50% off...no movement on popcorn machines when I was there. I did find Nerf guns 75% off in toys

Our store in Grand Blanc, MI is reorganizing and moving stuff everywhere and they have a ton of clearance, didn't see alot of toy clearance but I got 5 hooded towels, 4 how to train your Dragon and 1 Jessie from Toy Story 3 for 2.00 each, regularly 14.99.

The only thing I seen yesterday that I am not sure was posted yet was wallets with Vampire Teeth/mouths on them, and some other one for 2.48 or 3. something, depending on the size. A couple purses were 75% off too!

I got the Tinkerbell bedding too!!! So excited about that! A Tink fleece throw was only 3.54!!! There was also Iron Man and all the Circo quilts were 14.98, regularly 49.99. The Truck and Butterfly Big Night lights were 75% too.
Didnt find Mario Backpacks.
And I wanted a Fieldcrest blue and white rug, must have went because it is not there anymore.

The Pizza ovens were 50%, wanted one so bad but just no room... Got Gatorade 18pks for 4.32 and Pudding Snack Packs for 3.81 (24pk) Everything else, home and clothes, was 15%-30% at Fenton the Microwaves were 50%, 24.xx, I think.
Just thought I would mention also that the dollar spot has the cutest girls hair tyes for St. Pattys for a buck! :)

Hmmmm... Not calling her a liar, but I personally did not ever see any $100 Lego sets go on clearance. And I've been to 14 Targets since after Xmas. The ones I was seeing last night WERE $24.98, which is 50% off of the $49.99 reg price. Perhaps it was that one...
I seen a set that was 50% at I think for about $56.xx. I know it was in the 50's, so there was sets in the $100's.

Thanks for giving me a heads up but I think I am all good. Almost gave in on the Baby Care Center but my neice doesnt have bity baby Amercian Girls she has the Big ones.... so I dont think she will play with it. But that was very considerate of you. Thanks. :)

LOL! That was me with the scooter:) I actually started at the Brighton Target and I had my mom go to Fenton when they opened.....I stopped by hartland on the way back from brighton but they had not started marking down yet. I swung by Fenton to make sure my mom didn't over-look anything, and scored on the scooter and a few other things. Stopped by Miller Rd after that and scored the Barbie cruise ship and stopped by Center on the way to get my kids and it was EMPTY....just dust!
I couldnt believe that everything as gone there! Well I almost meet you! lol. I know who to race through Target for a great deal when i see you now. lol
