    If anyone else received their box of stuff they ordered from home and beyond, would you please post what you received in yours. I was very disappointed in mine and would like to know if I was an isolated case.

    I got junk as well. Ordered 2 boxes. Lets see, 2 sets of tiny screwdrivers, that headlamp thingy, coasters , 2 how to pamplets, one on wiring a telephone, one on unclogging a drain, and one of them stick up lights. Whoop te do!

     

    I went back to the web site and was reading what they say bout their stuff, and they are encourging people to post what good stuff we all got. I sent an email and told them they have no idea what they are doing, and should probably quit offering this stuff for money, as it was my first and will be my last order from them. Live and learn. Wonder who got the so called blue boxes!!

    I am not new to BF or rebates, but I haven't done many, so I was wonder who to avoid (which stores have sucky rebate practices) and who have good rebates?

     

    My experience - only with Staples. I had a few rebates last BF, and got them within 2 months. It seemed kinda long time to wait - but at least I didn't have to send anything in - all done over the internet.

    Not reading this whole thread so If someone else mentioned this sorry!

     

    Beware of one per customer Rebates. Last year we picked up memory cards from best buy, for the digital cameras , 2 of them . They gave me the forms and receipts to send in for the

    rebates, i think 35 a piece, but the second one never came!

    Just curious...how many stores do you plan on shopping at on BF? I will probably hit 3-4 stores. It all depends on the crowds and stock at the stores of course.

    Well I am looking at a big fat 0. Gonna be working! I'd call in, but, I just missed 6 weeks due to a motorcycle wreck. If I don't work , I miss the holiday pay for both turkey day and black friday! Kinda bummed, but, the ads really do nothing for me anyways! :no:

    old or new leapster version

    I noticed that TRU and Wal-Mart both carry the new leapster (smaller and rectangular) and the older leapster version. Any opinions on which is better?

    what/who is TRU? I have see that abbreviation all over this forums and no idea who they are! :giggle:

    AOL problem (for CC desktop deal)

    I signed up for AOL broadband ($14.95/month) for the free after rebate eMachines T3306. I tried AOL from my old puter, but it wouldn't let me in, it says incorrect screen name. And I called AOL, they said I have not signed up. It's weird because I did it so that I paid the desktop $250 less.

     

    Anyone has the same problem?

    Did you receive an email with those times? Just wondering cause if they are sending out to different time zones, would that not indicate an online deals?

    Circuit City 5 Hour Specials! M-F 11-4

    I got this email announcing these 5 hours sales.There is a link to click on, put in you email address to be notified what the daily deals are. There is no mention if these are going to be online sales or in store sales. I hope its online, as the nearest store is about 80 miles from me, and I will be at work during these hours. Please, Please let them be online!!
