i am SO jealous of some of you... I have NEVER been as far behind on things as I am this year... my dining room looks like a disaster zone with wrapping paper, ribbons and gifts sprawled out everywhere waiting on me to wrap... no decorating has been done (other than a wreath on the front door), no cookies have been baked, still waiting on shipments from at least 5 stores - and I have 9 days to pull it all together as the family all gathers at my place on Christmas Eve! I need some of whatever Brad takes to stay awake and post all those hot deals during Black Friday week and Cyber week to get all this done!!! Hubby has been working overtime and son is graduating early - so between cramming for finals and his job - neither can help me out! I need to call Santa and see if he can loan me a few elves for a week!

We get really bad winds, too - but I HAVE to have my Grinch inflatable - hubby and son have installed so many anchors on the poor guy that if he flies away - the yard is going with him!

I'll join in on the Kohl's rant - still haven't received a ship notice from them on things ordered over a week ago... never had this sort of problem in the past - I definitely will NOT be ordering any last minute gifts from them!

My Groupon order placed Before Black Friday just got here... Kohl's hasn't even sent me a ship notice yet - NOT very happy with them... some Walmart items have trickled in but am still waiting on a few - no ship notice yet on those, either... I guess I am spoiled with Amazon Prime - but even a few of those took longer than the 2 days to arrive... The bad part is - I am STILL placing orders! Guess I'll be wrapping things on Christmas Eve - LOL!

To the tune of "On the 12 Days of Christmas"... ♪♫ On the day before Thanksgiving my ice cubes gave to me... a chipped front tooth and no need to attempt Thanksgiving eating... Dentist closed till Monday... oh, JOY! On Thanksgiving my tooth gave to me - turkey in a blender (DON'T try it - it stinks!) and mushed foods I didn't want to try to eat On Black Friday I shopped from home - no going out for me... but still got good deals... Thanks to Gottadeal... On the weekend of Thanksgiving it really, really stunk... soup can ONLY go so far... On Cyber Monday - snagged a few great deals - then off to the dentist for me.... $1000 later... & a crown on order... too broke to buy more - I am totally suffering! 2 & 1/2 weeks from Christmas - the crown will be ready in 2 weeks... still eating soup and the family is wondering where the Christmas decoration are...♪♫ Happy holidays to those with good teeth and without the bills... Maybe as part of the questionnaire to fill out next year - "do you want your gifts wrapped?" should be a question - as this is the only gift some get under the tree... just a thought... sure wish I had gotten to participate this year - so much fun! Maybe next year my health will allow me to join in...
