It has taken me YEARS to train him - but as long as hubby can watch regular TV in the den he now accepts that NON-Stop Christmas will be on in my home office and the bedroom 24-7. He even likes a good bit of them on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries, but most of the regular Hallmark ones are too sappy for him.

OMG - I love that movie! I try to watch it Christmas Eve as well - but am not always awake when it comes on - as we do major family entertaining that night and I usually pass out when they leave.

I think Christmas Trivia with all the kids and their significant others would be my favorite Christmas Eve tradition.

I think the gifts I loved the most are the ones I use every single day: A k-cup maker (not Kuerig), An Amazon Alexa Echo, and a pair of Llbean Moose slippers. What I hope the most to get this year is some of my grown kids TIME to help us do some things in and around the house that hubby and I are no longer able to do. (I don't look for this to really happen - but a gal can wish).

You KNOW you are getting old when you have NO IDEA what any of the popular toys are! Pretty easy this year - 7 year old grandson wanted a laptop - and I nabbed a kid-proof (they say) Chromebook for him during the "Christmas in July" sales. 1 year old granddaughter - I have been buying a little bit here and there for all year. The other grand-kids I don't see often enough to know what they like - so they will probably get them small items and some gift cards. Now - if only the adults were this easy to shop for!
