Normally my tree is decorated for me by my grown children the Wednesday prior to Thanksgiving... but there is always a fight over the lights and how many and how to do it and WHO will take it down... well - no-one took it down last year - so I took the decorations off and left the lights on and left the tree up.... figuring SOMEONE would take it down for me - but they didn't... so since I have a lodge decor in the house - I just left it up! There it stands... so, I will decorate it at some point - or maybe just put one bulb on it and let it be a "Charlie Brown" tree and see what they all have to say about it... I normally have a winter-wonderland house - but this year I may just go with simple - since the taking it apart fell on me last year - and I just said NO! Getting OLD has it's perks.

Very cool! I have always wanted to go to the Macy's parade! Thanks for the weather updates and enjoy the parade.

Is it just my freaky computer or are others seeing the deals spin and switch places in the lightning deals when new ones come up so that you have to refresh and research for their new position?
-
I've gotten 2 lightning deals already today - one i was on a wait list for and it said I had a "Poor Chance" at getting it (due to the number of people ahead of me...) Either a lot of people changed their mind, or didn't check out in time and lost it - because I got it... very happy so far! The deals are getting warmer - can't wait till they get HOT!

Time to set up 3 coffee pots so I can stay awake!

Walmart has lowered their minimum shipping from $50 to $35.00 as of this morning. "New – Free Shipping Now Available on Orders of $35 or More This Holiday Season Whether shopping online or on a tablet or smartphone, Walmart’s biggest free shipping program gives customers more opportunities to save and the flexibility to choose how they want to get their online orders – at their door or at a store. Starting Nov. 22, nearly all Walmart.com items (and half of Marketplace items) are eligible for free shipping on orders over $35. Customers can also upgrade to a faster 3-5 day option for just $2.97, with most orders arriving in three days or less, without a subscription fee. Additionally, select Cyber specials will be available for customers to order online and pick up at their local Walmart store that same day, from Saturday, Nov. 30, through Cyber Monday, Dec. 2." Here is the press release (which also deals with Cyber Monday) from them: LINK

Not much help... but this year i just want to say Bah-humbug to the whole darn thing - even Thanksgiving... So much drama going on within the family and yet somehow i have to cook, clean, decorate, wrap, buy for, entertain and forgot about what has transpired throughout the year... last year son will still be living at home (perhaps) as he is graduation high school in Dec/Jan... and my mom lives alone and we are all she has - so i know for their sakes i MUST live up to my obligations... but I just don't have it in me... just want o curl up somewhere and sleep it all away. I have always been a holiday person... but not this year.
