Fist time in 5 years my husband and I are not going out with friends for BF.
The ads this year are pathetic. I got a better deal last year on a HDTV and I didn't even have to wait in line. The Zune last year was a great deal @ TRU.... but there is nothing that would make me wait in line for 5+ hours.
I will be picking up a few things from Newegg and thats about it.
Very dissapointed.

That was a LOT of work for $4.00 ( That turned into 7:))
Sometimes it is better for your mental health to let things like that go, and chalk it up to stupidity.
-
TRU was crazy, there must have been 300 people in line by 5:00.
The best was the look on everyones face, like they were suprized they were not going to get a zune for 79.99 showing up at 4:50.....
They had about 15 of them and me and my husband were 8th and 9th.....

Good thing we didn't hold our breath for this ad to be posted huh?

I am a total GPS novice, so forgive my silly question...is this unit one that says the directions out loud by any chance? That is a feature that would really be ideal for us. It is in stock at our local BB, backordered online. This would be a great gift for hubby!
See Marcsters first three posts.... They all will tell you directions out loud.
the only difference is that the text to speach list says "turn left on main st in 200 yards" while the Voice command one says "turn left in 200 yards"

Do any of the units other than the Navigon 1200 have the "speed limit" feature that will show the speed limit on the screen? It looks like a good feature but is it more "gimic" than helpful?
It might help avoid "speedtraps" in unknown areas.
What other units have this feature?
The Mio Does,
For 100.00, I don't know why you would buy any other GPS other than the Mio.....
I travel 1200 miles a week for business, all over the country in rental cars mostly.... and let me tell you, it is always spot on, and fantastic with making the directions dummy proof.
Plus the millions and zillions of POI's are great for finding hotels, eats, restrooms, parking garages... well just about anything you can think of. And it gives you the phone #'s.
I have friends that have the higher end tom toms and magelans that all wish they had the mio.

I am dissapointed in this years HDTV prices.
Last year they were much better.

Sorry, the maximum number of redemptions for this promotion has already been reached.

We have our wii and have been playing it. Pretty cool, worth the wait.
Anyone know where to locate our wii number? Wanna trade wii #'s?
My wife (this is her screen name...) Has a 97 wrangler. And she won't trade it for the world. I offered her my new truck, so I can use the company car.... but she won't get rid of the Jeep.
What kind do you have?

are they allowed to leave? my walmart said once you sign up you cant leave, except a 30 minute break or something
They call roll every 30 minutes, if you miss two in a row, you are off the list...
So you can roam the store, stop at subway or go to your car and nap for about 45 minutes a clip.

Local walmart has 34
My wife and sister are standing in line right now, they are numbers 7 and 23.
Good thing it is inside.

What about if I buy a TV from circuit city, now, then on BF.... go back to price match (same CC store) The one I am looking at is the vizio, and it has a 300 instant rebate, and a 200 mail in rebate. Will they give me the mail in rebate?
Thanks

My Walmart sucked the big one, Parking lot was full, people were parking in other lots and walking there. There were so many people there that you could not get from item to item. They have about 30 registers, and about 12 were open. The lines went ALL the way to the back of the store...
Kiss my ass walmart:slapcry:
