I would run a spyware check on your computer though. Then explain that GD is a site that probably will offer your co-workers, IT guys so nice deals on electronics, and the like. Then they will open it faster than you can say firewall.

Well I have to say my experience with Overstock was not good at all. I ordered the unit on the 9th and today I received a shipment. It contained a Toshiba Portable DVD player. I ordered a TIVO, not a portable DVD player. The Tivo is sold out now, and I won't get a refund on my card until this portable dvd player is returned.. They didn't offer to do anything for me, nor even apologize for the error.

Looks good but two questions
1) Have you considered buying the minimal 256MB RAM and buying 1GB RAM cheaper elsewhere like NewEgg.com or Crucial.com?
2) The Intel 2200 wireless should be sufficient unless you have an 802.11a network you plan on connecting to.
Nice job on the 2nd year warranty and additional 8 cell battery. Around your home/office you could use the slimmer 4 cell and use the 8 cell for travel trips

1) Thought about it, I'll see how much I save. I think it was 180 for the 512 sticks.
2) I'll change to the other one.
I just can't decide between this and the latitude, but I've heard from many people, that they love this machine. Plus I get 800+ discount which is better than the 750 one.

How is wifi access on these machines? How far will it pull a signal from? I know someone who has an averatec and my toshiba has better signal strength/detection etc.. than the averatec and it is 2 years older.
