Hi there, I am looking to buy a digital SLR camera for a friend.. and as it is expected (and known) of girls, I am not an electronics freak My friend wants either the Nikon D70 or the Canon Rebel XT model. I did look at both your posts, but I havent understood what you mean by the "10% GC" discount.. plus how tax n zip code pays a role in the pricing. I could opt for a New Jersey delivery (07031) or a New York one (10019)- would it make a difference? I would be really really glad if you could help me on getting a deal for one of these cameras! I found a few info on the Dell deals for the Rebel XT, but they were only for the first 1000, so they've been used up already Thanks so much in advance, hope you can help me! rain

Okay, for all you guys out there who love keeping track with the latest on electronics n its deals.. -Canon Rebel XT (with lens) (best deal I found: $889) -Canon Rebel (with lens) (best deal I found: $650) -Nikon D70 (best deal I found: $529 on www.bestchoicedigital.com.. dunno if its good though, any idea?) Please don't give me info from the shopping.com pages.. what I am looking for are real deals such as coupon/ promo codes from either an online/ offline stores such as a 10-15% off that is applicable to the camera, OR simply a deal on the camera itself!
