I was told at Best Buy that if I return an item bought with BBB then I would get nothing back, because they treat them as coupons. I would only get credit for any cash I used over and above the amount of BBB. They told me I could not even return defective items that very day for an exchange or credit or anything other than the little bit of money I spent with the BBB's. I used all of mine on BF. Hannah

If you bought one of the 7" portable DVD players at BB, where are you buying a car mount? I didn't see them at my BB, and I imagine there are better deals on them elsewhere anyway. I was at Target yesterday, and while they had a number of DVD players, I didn't see any carrying cases or car mounts there, either. I would like a car mount to play DVD's for my toddler in the back seat during long trips. Thanks! Hannah

I heard that they gave out $50 gift cards at the busier store in our county, but I'm not sure if that's true. (I was at the less crowded store.) I don't know why they would give away gift cards to people planning to spend money there and waiting in line. We didn't even get donuts.

I got it! But I was the 11th in line at my BB at 2:45 am (after going to another first where the line was longer.) I think I got the 2nd ticket out of 24 (or at least the ad in the paper said minimum 24 per store, but they might have had more.) My main "wants" that morning were the camera and the 7" portable DVD player, and I was able to get both! I could have bought a laptop, too, but for many reasons I finally decided not to buy it, since I didn't need it for myself. Hannah

Aquadoodle and cube Lite Brite at Kohl's. I wanted to buy the two toys plus a king size blanket for half price at $30, for a total of about $52, and then I would receive a $10 coupon. Unfortunately, they were sold out of the toys I wanted when I arrived at 6:30 am after shopping elsewhere, and the lines were so long I didn't want to browse for anything else. Hannah

After coming home from BB and taking a nap and playing with ds, I went out to grab some groceries and went to Wolf/Ritz Camera for two $9.99 each after $15 rebate (per item) SD cards--256 MB each by Panasonic. I thought that was a pretty good price and wanted to share that information here. Hannah

Best Buy- Kodak C360 Camera (arrived at 2:45 there and 11th in line) 7" portable Insignia DVD player I also have a "ticket" to buy the laptop, but I can't decide IF I should go back and buy it or not to try to resell. Kohl's- Arrived at 6:30 and they were sold out of the 2 toys I wanted to buy as gifts.

I've never waited for BF deals, though that will end tomorrow. If it is in your local ad I think they have to honor the ad, at least if you can prove you were one of the first however many people in line that morning. Our ad actually lists the number of items available for some doorbusters. I called both local BB to ask if they had the camera (C360.) One kind of confirmed it, but said they were in back with the Friday merchandise, and the other store's camera dept. employee also said (on Wed.) that any special merchandise for Friday would literally still be covered up in back, so he could not confirm items or quantities. I was very relieved to see the ad. But don't blame me if you get frostbite! I don't know if I would be willing to wait outside in 0 degree temps, and it's possible that your BB will disappoint you. They don't have the best reputation here. Good luck!

The reporter claims that this website only had one ad right? That's crazy. Everything I've read on this board about BF deals seems accurate for my area, except for a post or two by "unofficial" people. (Editing now to clarify: by "right" I mean "correct." The reporter is claiming that out of all the ads he researched that were leaked here prior to BF, he is claiming that only one (the WalMart ad) was correct? I find it hard to believe his claim, there. The ads were very accurate for my area.

I know our BB will pass out tickets between 4:30 and 5 am, when they open. If I am able to get the tickets for the 2 items I want, could I then go to Kohl's for the 5 am opening there and return to BB afterward? I guess as long as I complete my BB purchase before noon I should be safe, right? I want to pick up a couple of toys at Kohl's, and I'm afraid they might sell out quickly. I really wish Kohl's was not opening so early tomorrow! Thanks, Hannah

Wow! I would question if it would be reliable at that price. Even regular DVD players at under $30 are usually iffy brands. I'm looking forward to seeing all our local ads tomorrow morning, and I will be waiting in line at BB (to use my BBB) Friday morning.

You work for Best Buy, right? Are you hinting that they are pulling a switcheroo and changed the ads? Is it nationwide or local? Hannah

I'm still not sure if I'm leaving the house at 1, 2 or 3 am, but at any of those times I'll be doing good just to brush my hair. I do plan to dress somewhat nicely, though with a heavy wool coat and maybe a hat, if it's cold. Probably no makeup except lipstick. I'm married, and I really don't want to look that good for the muggers.

I want to buy a camera for under $175 at BB using my BBB, and now I can't decided between the Nikon Coolpix 4.0 on sale (now) from $180 for $150 (not sure if I could also get the additional $20 gift card with purchase using BBB) or the BF deal of the Kodak C360 for $130, about half the usual price. I have a good "film" camera, but I want a decent digital, too. I spend way too much money developing bad photos due to a toddler who is constantly in motion. Both cameras have the same 3 times optical zoom, and the Kodak is 5 megapixel, as opposed to 4 for the Nikon, but I've read that that number can be a little misleading. Hannah
