Wow, so many people have read this thread but, nobody has any other suggestions??? I guess I will look somewhere else for help, oh well. I guess one of the moderators can go ahead and close this thread.

I'm wanting a 15" laptop. My daughter got a netbook for Christmas and I just don't think I could get used to one that small. My laptop I use now (it could die anyday) has a 17" screen, I like the large one but, it's so bulky moving it around, I think anything under 15" would kill my eyes. I really need to try and find something soon, I know my dell won't last much longer. Battery life is really important too. Any other suggestions?

Ok, my laptop is going out on me and I figured I better get one now. You guys know so much about this stuff I thought I would get your suggestions. By the way, my daughter loves her asus netbook that Santa brought for Christmas, thanks to your suggestions. Anyway, I'm wanting a 15" (the one I have now is just too big), and I would like to stay in the $500 range. Mostly all I do is check email, surf the web and play farmville. I do have about 4000 songs for my ipod too. So, can you guys recommend a laptop? Thanks in advance for your help.

Crayola is sold out, I emailed them last week. Good luck finding it, they are really hard to find, I lucked up and got mine from walmart.
