Anyone know anything about the laptop? Model #, item # or anyway to get the full specs? Does Sam's usually sell out of those very quickly or as long as you are there when they open?

All the super deals at my store (I do sell appliances) are already blocked from ringing up so that 1) they that there are units available at the store for that day 2) people can't do the price adjust thing. We have the units in the back with hold tags on them for that day.

As I understand it, they will match their own prices if it is a regular sale. However if it is a door buster or a limited time offer (i.e. until noon) then they will not match it.

This makes me upset, 1. My father now has to work on thanksgiving and 2. The sales are terrible so there is no reason for him to even be there...
I understand. I work there on commission and they cut commissions for the great deals. Not sure what the incentive is there now.

Last year at our store the appliances manager went outside about 30 min prior to opening and asked who was there for specific deals. He then gave them a ticket that entitled them to make that purchase. So what some people did was go get the other deals first then they brought the ticket to the appliances dept to complete that deal. I think the last ticket brought to the dept was about 9:30am after the 4am open! Not sure if it will be the same at your store but call and ask the brand central manager what their plans are for that day.

I was wanting to know if they will let you go ahead and pay for the washer and dryers and let you come back later in the day when all the crowds die down some to pick them up?
The answer is yes. You have to purchase it in the am to make sure you get the deal, but you actually have 2 weeks to pick it up (assuming that is a company wide policy time frame). What happens is when you make the purchase, a signal is sent to move the washer/dryer from inventory to "stage" and it is tagged with your name & sales check #. Later you go to merchandise pickup and scan your receipt. That sends a signal to the receiving team to get it from the staging area and bring it out to you.

Any good deals on front load washer/dryer sets and also looking for a new fridge?
Looks like all Kenmore will be 20% off + 10% family&friends discount. "Save on all other appliances" so I don't know what any specific item will be. The ad shows two front load sets 1) Whirlpool duet Sears item 02649052 & 02689052 (ad states 024 as the first 3 digits but I think that is wrong as all other laundry starts 026) that set is $799.98 BEFORE 10% savings. 2) LG set items 02628003 & 02648003 for 1299.98 BEFORE 10% savings.
Refrigerators shows are the basic looking ones: 04651039 for 899.99 after 10%, 04658943 for 749.99 after 10%, 04660232 for 604.79 after 10%

How about a Nikon Cool Pix S series Camera? Oh the suspense is killing me!! I am dying to see this add lol!!
I see a Nikon L22 (Coolpix??) That is "99.99 after $20 instant savings" "plus extra 10% off" Sears #03353178. Looks like electronics offers are all day instead of just the 3 hours. Ad says extra 10% off electronics including TVs 32" and larger.
To everyone else - I will try and scan it tomorrow. (It is 28 pages including the covers) Where do I send the scans?

I got the ad for the F&F sale today in the store. It's pretty big - lots of pages and some pretty good deals depending on what you are looking for. I don't want to type it all in, but I'll answer what I can from the ad.

No but sometimes not all the doors are open. Visit the store in the week prior and ask someone in electronics, appliances, or a manager for a flyer. Sometimes they are also at the registers. They can also tell you which doors will be open also.

Check out the Family and Friends night Nov 15. You will find deals near or at BF prices usually. Only you do not have the hassles or run into delivery limitations that sometimes come with waiting to BF. Plus you might have the dishwasher in time to use for Thanksgiving.

I've been told to expect a 4am open in my store as well. Also east coast so it is at least a regional decision.
