  1. I think I read that the Assassins Creed Revelations will be a lightening special for 24.99, I just don't know when (on black Friday)... I'm looking for Skyrim & Call of Duty 3 Modern Warfare :( my son decided to put his requests in tonight!

Any discount from $60 will be a welcome discount! :) I made the mistake and already put Madden 12 on layway at Walmart for full price($60) as well before seeing that they're offering it for $25 this year on BF as an in store deal. That has been an annual request for my son for the last few years and I've had to go to Walmart during their early opens and position myself by the game to pick it up. At least this year, they've got some really great prices on clothes for the kids there as well (Socks, jeans, underwear, etc.) so it might be worth the trip out tomorrow night after all. Unlike years past, I don't have credit cards, I just have a finite amount of cash and when it's done- it's done. That's why this is my favorite "Holiday". Not so much the Thanksgiving, because I'm generally Thankful and try to be so all year long, but because it's like my little personal mom hobby. :)

Happy shopping and Fantastic savings to you all! And Happy Thanksgivings as well!

  2. Walmart will have Arkham City on sale for BF for about half the price. If it's true to their other sales the last several years, you'll have to be in store to get them for that price. I think it was 25 or 28 this year?

I happened to visit the store a couple weeks ago to start my layaway and saw that they have the XBox 360 Arkham City selling for 60, but it also contains the Arkham Assylum game with it as a bundle, same price as just the new game. If you were interested....

  3. It's up!

The VIP Bag is now officially available at the B&BW site- $20 for the bag with a $40 purchase. I loaded my cart last night with several of the other items that are supposed to go off sale today (the 2 for $10 candles, 6 for $24 antibacterial soap, the wallflower deal) and still received the sale price on those, in addition to adding the VIP bag and having it ring up for $20 (with $40 in your cart.) The only negative thing I experienced is that you can only use the VIP11 promo code, which puts shipping at 7.99 and doesn't allow you to use the $10 off $30 purchase special deal when you buy online.

If you go back and pick up another $30 worth of merchandise, you can use the $10 off coupon there and if you spend $50, you get free shipping with this particular offer.

  4. As to whether having two cards is bad, valid arguments for either side could be made.

On the pro-card issue, it will provide you with the opportunity to make purchases that you generally don't have available cash for right this minute.

The anti- card side is that you could go crazy with the card and charge more than intended.

Additionally, the new cards will count against you on your credit score, and some lenders note that the new cards could indicate you're overburdened with debt.

Finally, having the Walmart card would definitely be handy on black Friday, and Walmart brought back layaway, so you can stretch your spending and pay in installments on the card and at the layaway counter.

  5. My husbands printer is Old. I could deal with the rest if it just performed the one job I need- print. So we decided on Sunday we would look for a scanner, fax, printer combo. Yesterday, Target sold the exact item, normally a hundred, for under.40 dollars. By.the Time I had heard, they were sold out online, they had the model in the store but refused to give me.the cyber sale price.

In addition to the early Monday Target sales, they have special texts sent if you sign up they send a code to your phone. The single.code provides discounts on several items...keep your eye out for these fast and exclusive online deals! Maybe signing up for mobile coupon this year will make bf even better!!!
