  1. what is the c4c all I know is that your not the only one going crazy trying to get these pans I checked every morning and every night and I am obsessed with it. and the killer of it all is that I don't even like to cook :)

When you finally land the set you are going to LOVE cooking. I've had a lot of nice cookware through the years but I'm CRAZY :cheesy: about this set. Cooking with these pans is an absolute joy. Hang in there and keep trying!

  2. Be careful. Last year I loaded up on these promotional items (most ended up as freebies) and there wasn't a single one that wasn't certifiable junk. Not one was fit for gift giving or worth keeping. They all photograph well but were very disappointing. The wireless headphones...worthless. Any of the lunch box, cooler and travel bag items I received were too flimsy to be of any real use. The other items I cannot speak to.

Maybe (and I hope) your experience will be different, but I felt guilty even dropping the stuff off at Goodwill. It should have gone straight to the landfill.

    Sometimes a bargain...isn't. Good luck!

  3. It is too heavy to lug the kirby....:D

:gdiagree: I suffered under the weight of my Kirby for 20 years. I thought I couldn't justify getting another vacuum when I knew how much DH spent trying to do something nice. :gdblush:

Once I tried a Dyson, I never looked back. I love to lend it out so others will see how great it is...and they ALWAYS opt in.

In case of divorce the Dyson is the only thing I'd insist upon taking with me. In case of fire, everyone knows to grab pictures and the Dyson.

I hope Santa brings mtinmn a Dyson for Christmas. :holiday09:

  4. The code isn't working as above anymore.

When I ordered, the Scooba only dropped to $279 instead of the heartstopping :eyepoppin $239.

After nearly two hours waiting:gd_tequil for an online rep, I was told I'd have to call customer NO service for help. :gdstooges:

They said they pulled it as the code was posted somewhere online. Hmmmmmm..... :g_shrug:

I got the free Roomba ($119), 30% off the Scooba, no tax and shipping so I'm certainly content.

I'll give the Roomba to my Mom and if I love the Scooba as much as I love my old Roomba, it's still a great deal and a Merry Christmas for me!:holiday16

  6. Try the following for real savings on college books:

    www.campusbooks.com

    www.cheapesttextbooks.com

    www.half.com

    www.ebay.com

If you want to pm me I'd be happy to send you the info sheet explaining the ins and outs of saving on books my dd created last year while an RA. I'd put it here, but I don't think it will fit. DD managed to put herself through school AND put several thousand dollars into savings partially because she absolutely REFUSED to pay bookstore prices.

She's now teaching in China and just asked me to send the info for her students so I have it handy! :yup:
