  1. Could Amazon be the shocker of the last 10 days with countless price matching of competitors?

Will Best Buy or Walmart put out a last minute supplement ad to get an edge on the competitions?

What is the possibility of a Groupon for a major retailer materializing in the coming days to steal the show when it comes to Black Friday sales?

What do you think COULD be a last minute surprise? Or have we seen everything there is as far as major sale items?

  2. Just scooped the $229 Gateway netbook from Bestbuy today and am currently browsing with it. I already had a Dell notebook, but the portability factor, huge hard drive, etc on top of the best advertised price I've seen outside of the BF sales ads for a netbook were the deciding factor. I saw the exact same netbook in Radio Shack's ad first and was considering them. But then I was like, how come BB don't have this if RS does...and lo and behold, there it was for the same price. I think they will use these to entice BF shoppers with these once they run out of the doorbuster ones. Decided I would rather spend $50 more now versus waiting to see if the $179 netbook from BB would pop up online or standing line in the cold for hours in hope of getting one.

Now I can spend my BF looking for the smaller things since there was nothing else electronic that I was grabbing this year anyways. :fluffy:

    Happy BF Shopping!

  3. Received an email on this and may just go as I'm sure I can find something at Restoration Hardware. Plus I just want to experience the mayhem :D:D:D

The mayhem is incredible....knowing that none of the people there have been to sleep!!! They literally came straight from Thanksgiving dinner! We thought we were doing good by being there at 9pm...the line was already out of this world long. We still got our free pjs and stuff, but it's not worth standing in line for 3 hours for. The midnight sales however are worth going to...just not the freebie line.

    Just my opinion!

  4. Been to Prime Outlets in Pleasant Prairie the past 2 years. Not worth standing in line for the 'freebie' that they hand out to the first 500 in line, but the sales were out of this world. We hit up Bath and Body Works, Yankee Candle, Ghiradelli, Fossil, Carter's, Coach Outlet, and a few others. Done by 3am, and headed back an hour to Milwaukee for 5am openings. May need to leave sooner this time around since stores like Kohl's and Sears will be opening at 4am this year. Best time was at Half Price Books of all places! $5 gift card and free tote, plus 20% off for first couple hours. Hosting Thanksgiving this year instead of going to someone else's house, so that'll be interesting to kick everybody out by 8pm so that we can clean up, and hit the road to the outlets. ~LOL~
