  1. If you bought the Toshiba from CC with 1 year aol contract, it's already installed on your system. If you open up 9.0, its already fully loaded, only needs one or two quick updates, so why not use it for the free XM radio or the many free music videos/songs you can watch and listen to?

I wouldnt use it because the software is clunky and takes up too much space on a computer for such a lousy program. Just my opinion. :D

  2. I don't have any BBB so I can't see the terms, but if somebody bought an item with BBB before they expire and then return that item after they expire (let's say the 4th when the big sale is ;) ) would they get an in-store gift card to use?

You really didnt think you were going to cash back did you? :rotflol:

Yes, since the BBB's have no cash value the returned amount would be credited to a BB giftcard. :gd_devild

  4. yeah AOL has a lot of features (some good, some not so good). The only thing I dont like about AOL is there clunky software and it bogs down on the ram.
  5. Maybe you can look at it this way...

Some people are unable to get to a store to buy the items. Maybe they are disabled, sick, or out in the middle of nowhere.

Even though they pay a higher price they are thankful to be able to have EBAY as a resource.

Some people do have money and don't care what it costs. They prefer to have others "shop" for them.

I hope that can make you see things a little differently.

    I disagree with you 100%!

SOME (not all) are not thankful for Ebay as a resource, its a last resort so they are stuck with paying the higher price set on ebay! :g_thumbsd

As for those that want other to "shop" for them...I dont think so! That is a load of bunk! God, you must be an EBAY seller. I buy stuff on EBAY but at close retail price. Ebay is supposed to be for deals sometimes and other times you are getting jacked because hoarder wanted all the merchandise to jack up the price to allow "disabled" or "sick" people to shop for them...Right.....:grandpa::eek:

  6. Voucher system worked fine at my BB. Some people who didn't get a voucher tried to buy the desktop but were turned down.

They can always go to ebay and pay 3x the amount of the $149 ones. :insane:

  7. ConGrats to you for getting yours. What makes me so mad though is that I was right next to the $48 ones at WM and thought to myself well the sell at Target is 2 days for sure they got a good many in. YEAH RIGHT they were suspose to get 50 per store. For a 2 day sale did they actually think that was going to be enough

    comon now

Yeah I wish they would have ordered a lot more of the HOT items and had them in stock for selling. I tell you it was a MADHOUSE at our local Target!! But I had a blast Friday!! :2wiggle:

  8. Our Walmart's in our local area changed quite a few of the doorbusters at least 4 that I know of to a lower price in our local paper. The AD would state a higher price but come to find out the price had dropped some dropped by more than $20+. :lolrun:
  9. Thats why the handed out vouchers

The voucher system is almost as bad as the lottery system in my mind.

And are you kidding me? How can you control a mob of 300+ people that are PI**ed off that the AD states min of 20 then come to find out we only got 9! That was some bulls*it that BB pulled on those folks! Glad I got mine at the 149 price. :fluffy:

  10. I think in a perfect world the 1 per person or 1 per household would work good but come on people are you kidding me? When the doors open its like a wild stampede and nothing is going to stop these people from getting what they wanted. :spamdance
  11. I was in line at Target and got through the door 2 minutes after they opened and they told me they was already out of the GBA SP's. I also seen Target employees running up to the register with buggies full of sale items to purchase. Does anybody else think that this is unfair or is it just me. I called several of the Targets in my area and had several people tell me they was sold out before the store opened. HMMMMM something tells me all the product that they had went to the employees so why even put the dmn thing in the sale paper. Any suggestions on what should be done or should I let it lay????:curse: :curse: :argue_mad :argue_mad :banghead:

That seems to have happened at several locations (and different retailers) across the country. I know the BB that was supposed to have a min of $149 computers ended up only having 9 to sell, I am assuming since I cannot confirm this but I can only assume the the other 11 had "pre loaded" crap on them and those were selling for $279 (Emachine). :bs:

I was able to get mine though. I was #6 of 9 $149 Emachines.
