Planning on going by myself. Don't want to be slowed down by someone else. Have a very specific list of places to go and things to buy. Plus, family thinks I'm nuts for going that early in the morning , so they're not gonna come with me

I'm not sure about Walmart hours, but personally I think it is greedy and it sucks!!! No, I don't work for them...I'm a Stay at Home (not mom :) ). But people should really have a few holidays to be with family. Why do stores feel so compelled to get every dime out of the consumer! It really frosts my cookies when people are open Thanksgiving and Christmas. My husband and I NEVER patronize a store on these days...not even a 7-11 for gas. Corporate America needs to be a little less greedy in my opinion and respect their workers! People will tell you that EMPLOYEES used to have more loyalty to their workplace...true...but EMPLOYERS also used to respect the people that keep thier companies running, even on the lowest levels.
...........getting off my soapbox, thanks for listening.................................
Totally agree with you. We do not patronize any store on Thxsgivng or Xmas, with the exception of a gas station once (never bothered me about the gas stations since the majority around here are Arab/Muslim owned , they don't celebrate Christmas anyways)

Fair,shmare...if Target does price adjustments then that's where i'll be the day before thanksgiving. I only need one thing from there. Anyone know if TRU or Walmart's will do this?
Sorry if it spoils the fun of BF. If it makes you feel any better, i'll still be waiting at 4am at the disney store on BF

Actually TRU had some pretty decent prices when compared to years past. Especially when using the 20% and the $5 off $25 purchase. Plus the $10 gift card with a $75 purchase was nice too. I found most of the pricing on things I wanted to buy in line with Target and Walmart (although our Walmart doesn't have a big selection of toys)

ah, but what if a company made two ads-one real and one fake??

Looking at the Target ad, don't see much there that's any good deal. RazorA Scooters listed at $19.00, just purchased one today at TRU for $19.99. Bratz Campfire Dolls listed at $10.00, purchased today at TRU for $9.99. Plus at TRU , they have the buy $75 get a $10 gift card, and there's the $5.00 off purchase of $25 or more coupon also. Never thought I'd say the TRU is the better deal of the two
Good deals on 2GB USB Flash Drives?
