They had the swings but they were only marked $66 clearanced. I plan to go back later this week to see if they have gone down. We are expecting our first DD after 3 DS in March!!!! Thanks to all on this board for the great heads up!!!

    :) :D:yup:

  2. I just saw a commercial this morning that said TRU is having a special two day sale with select toys 50% off!!!! It showed little tikes, fisher price, and some more brands. It did not give specific toys but it starts Friday from 5pm - close and Saturday starting at 8am!!! :cheesy::D
  3. When does the Target toy book come out? Could these things be for that. I know it comes out before Black Friday and there are tons of coupons for the items in there.

The weekly ad for this week stated that it will be out on Sunday, Nov. 4th!!!! :D

  4. I played with google today and noticed someone had the ad already then Wal-Mart threatened them with that so called community e-mail.

I saw this earlier today too...Was the ad already leaked and that is why they ***Wally World*** (Better not say there real name because I might get sued)are acting so silly?

:eyepoppin I for one think it is great publicity for them if the ads do come out earlier than normal. It gives alot more people the chance to save even more money in hopes of spending more money due to their sales! Such a shame...

  5. Got this from another thread...

Black Friday gimmicks start rolling in

First out of the gate is Sam's Club, which is offering free breakfast in all of its stores nationwide to shoppers who come for its early-bird specials.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- With crucial holiday sales on the line, Sam's Club is laying it on thick this year, giving shoppers free breakfast on top of its Black Friday "doorbuster" deals.

No doubt, an ongoing housing market slump coupled with credit market woes have left many Americans with less discretionary income to shop.

As stores brace for the all-important November-December holiday shopping period, which accounts for as much as 50 percent of merchants' annual profit and sales, retailers are especially nervous about whether or not they'll be able to make their year-end financial targets.

Given that Black Friday, or the day after Thanksgiving, sometimes sets the tone for the entire holiday sales rush, retailers will undoubtedly resort to all kinds of gimmicks to get crowds early into their stores and, more importantly, keep them there.

To that end, Sam's Club, a division of Wal-Mart Stores (Charts, Fortune 500), said it will open stores at 5 a.m. the day after Thanksgiving and roll out a free continental breakfast to shoppers in all of its locations nationwide until 9 a.m.

The retailer said this year consumers can also use their cellphone by texting "GO" to (sams1) to sign up to get a preview of its Black Friday sales beginning Nov. 19.

The National Retail Federation expects total 2007 holiday sales will increase 4 percent to $474.5 billion, or softer than last year's 4.6 percent growth.

  6. It is a toss between WalMart and ToysRus according to who has the best deal...then Target, Fred's, and all others...we are getting a new Kohl's in Nov so maybe that store too if it is open before BF...
  7. I am putting up my tree this weekend and decorating it with fall decor, with fake pumpkins underneath, fall garland, scarecrow, etc. so all I have to do is take the fall decorations down and put up Christmas ones...LOL I saw the idea at the hair salon last weekend and I thought I would do the same!! ;)
