I always write a thank you note to each one and include how proud Santa is of them for (whatever). As they get older though, my sister said she will so that they won't recognize the handwritins. Every year the kids like to "reread" the old ones.

i agree. i am waiting on KB and CC. However there are a few toys that will save me a little, enough to make it worth it. Besides why break tradition. I am the only one in family crazy enough to do this year after year.

I haven't in a couple years. The kids and I always sing whenever we look at lights. Sometimes the peole look at us and shake their heads and a lot of times they actually join in.

my cats and dog have stockings as well. not only are they a part of the family but mostly my kids insist on it

my girls (5,4,4) all get little stuff: lip gloss, crayons, candy, bubble bath is a must for them
