My 16 yo daughter needs a new laptop. She has been using a Walmart door $150 door buster for the past 4 years. She hates it and I don't blame her. However, we really don't know what she needs. She wants to be able to use office for excel and word. She also wants it to be reasonably responsive. She will store and edit photos and videos. She is most comfortable with Mac products and we are thinking a MacBook air is the way to go. Any suggestions or caveats would be greatly appreciated. She would like it to last into college.

Every year we gather every possible coupon we can and while we're in line we spy other people's baskets and give them any coupons that they can apply. (We actually do it about once a month to clean out our coupon box--a lady in coach almost kissed me when I gave her a $100 coupon!). It's really a nice way to spend waiting time:)

Anyone seen any spectacular UGG deals. Last year I got her a pair made by the same company for Macy's house brand and she wore the heck out of them so I shouldn't complain...but this year she needs the Ugg tag. Any help out there?

Weird one...I do all of my shopping and wrapping on BF and happened to have difficulty gettting a paper with all the ads...so I left the house super early on BF and stopped at Walgreens to pick up an extra newspaper. They had tons of wrapping paper etc on sale. It was a great surprise and is now a part of BF tradition. (did I mention it was empty?)
