Seagate and Maxtor hard drives are two of the leading HD's I've seen dying on people, no recovery at all possible due to the damage (with regular use). It's called "my humble opinion". :)
Please don't put Seagate and Maxtor in the same boat...:)

Best Buy took a step backwards this year. Last year was a 160GB Western Digital and this year it is a 120GB Seagate for $29.99??? I went to Staples and got the Maxtor 200GB for $29.94 AR.
Yea, I was quite dissapointed in this. Did they not think we would notice, sheesh. You could have gotten a 160GB SATA drive for 10$ less or a 200GB drive for the same price, ridiculous.

Seagate HD's themselves are crappy, so no way would I buy nor trust their rebates!
I beg to differ...ever use their 7200.7 or 7200.8 series HD's? Seagate's are among the fastest and most reliable of the industry.

You can't return products which have the UPC symbol removed for rebate purposes.

My store adhered to the 'open at 5am' thing as published in the flyer. I think a mad cry of foul play would have been called by the people at 5am expecting there to still be doorbusters. My store had like 5 copies of season 3 of the 24 DVD set. Letting people in earlier than advertised gave the early line people an unfair advantage to clean out the store of stuff like that. I didn't get the season 3 box set of 24. I can't believe our store had like only 5 copies. That sucks! It wasn't for me, but for a present for my brother, but that still sucks that there was such a limited amount of DVDs (in prior years DVD numbers never seemed to be a problem for me).
24 was available online...

Or better yet, follow her home and scare the living s**t out of her....inour BB I was shoved into a set of shelves y a woman who growled "get otta my way!"...when I told her she had hut me....(my hand was bleeding) she replied "you should know enough not to get in MY way!"....what a lovely time

Wow some of your best buys have very thin sidewalks and nothing around. Mine is in a huge shopping center with huge sidewalks and benches. There are also brick columns and bushes every few feet to shelter from the wind. I ended up getting a cart from home depot, turning it on its side and laying on it. I wanted to go riding around IN it, but I didnt want to lose my place :).

We got coffee :). It didn't taste very good though, but you cant complain about free stuff. I just held it to keep warm.
Everyone keeps referring to BF as this morning....YOURE CONFUSING ME. I didnt goto bed until 7am when the sun started rising haha. Thursday and "this morning" is just one big blur and I feel like I had a hangover this morning.

They let much of the line IN the store at 3ish, but separated the store out so nobody could shop? Then at 5 they opened the store? Wow what a great idea so you don't get cold! It also stops the MAD rush at 5am to get in. I seriously thought I was going to get hurt when everyone started pushing in....im only 15 and pretty small for my age.

they need to separate the first 30 people somehow...with line queues or something. It pisses the hell out of my when I wait in the freezing cold for 5.5hours when Bojo Jim just drives up and joins the bulk of people cutting right before the door. God damn just die you piece of *********
At 330, before they give tickets, they need to give out numbers to the first 50 or so people. Then they give tickets to the first 50 people first, and then after everyone is satisfied, they move to the others. At opening, one door serves even numbers and the other odd numbers in numerical order so the first 50 people who had been there for 5-6 hours can actually get credit for doing so. Donuts wouldn't be too bad either :).
While passing out tickets, they need security guys (not some weak geak working in the store) to make sure no one butts for the rest of the time. Take a few people who cut to the back of the line so everyone knows they arent kidding. This would also prevent the giant crowd that surrounds the door, causing a huge pushing frenzy when it opens.

pre installed on an emachine....not much. You should try Open Office for word processor, power point, etc. Its FREE and works just as well as microsoft office!

I got to BB at 1145 and was about the 35th person in line. Overall it was very organized and I was at the register by 530. The only downside was the literal STAMPEDE of getting into the store. I didn't even have to walk...i was pretty much pushed through. Now for some sleep...

EDTV is wanna-be HDTV. Its probably like mid-way between HDTV and regular 480i TV. I'm guessing its 720i instead of 1080i.
The numbers represent the number of lines on the screen. 480i = 480 lines interlaced.

honestly, no one is going to buy this deal unless their service just happends to be running out. No one is just getting their first phone, and if they are, this phone is not for them. Anyone just getting a phone wouldn't even know about BF. Ridiculous.

This isnt very smart because it will just confuse your body and make you even more tired. Once you get into a deep sleep its very hard to get out of one, which is why 1-2hr naps are bad for you...you'll never really wake up.
