Our picnic was 75% in central OH... mostly margarita mix and random other stuff. A few of the flameless candles... Also was excited to see the 10 pack of juice boxes... but they rang up $2.99. UGH!! SO disappointed!! Most toys were only at 30% (really nothing at 50% or 75%!!)....

if it's not 75% today - will it for sure be tomorrow? i know my mom's target here in West MI is LOADED with stuff yet at 50% (yesterday...). seems like they'd like to be rid of it....

will it go to 90% on saturday or will they wait until monday?

YEAH!! went to target today to scope out the toys (NOTHING good left of course)... but i did find a BUNCH of the carousel frames (both kinds) for $2.48. They weren't marked - just sitting on a shelf with the other frames. VERY excited... these will make perfect teacher gifts for next year. Also found that the oversized sport stuff was ringing up less than marked. Got the rocket launcher for $1.99. Had quite a few of the Christmas colored storage containers (clear with red tops) clearance for $4.xx. They had TON left... so maybe a new markdown?? This was in Columbus at the Waggoner/Broad St store...

how long do toys typically stay at 30%? my store has about 4 rows PACKED full of clearance toys. there are so many that it's hard to even see what's there. as for christmas - yesterday at 75% it only had odds n ends (broken snowglobes... go figure) left. 90% is almost pointless. oh yeah - when do they mark down the christmas colored storage bins? i got a couple last year, but don't remember when...

about things going to a higher % off during the day... it happens. went one morning it was 50%... later in the day (forgot something earlier in the day) and it was at 75%. can't remember which holiday though... maybe halloween? it's kind of irritating.

WAHOO... after months and months of searching I finally found 2 MM $.69 packs of juiceboxes. PARTY! School supplies still 30% - backpacks finally at 50%. Wondering if they're still holding off to mark it off more due to Ohio State not starting yet?? Pool stuff is still only 50%.

our dollar spot was half empty BEFORE any sort of clearance started. pretty much only the $2.50 stuff and a few coupon holders. the rest was pretty much just odds n ends. one whole section has been empty for WEEKS. anyone else having this problem??
