  1. I posted this on another thread, but it was so funny I had to share....a couple of years ago, everyone in line collectively agreed to let a handicapped man in a wheelchair to the front so he could get in the doors safely....when the doors opened, he left his wheelchair blocking the doors and got up and ran. :) Some people will do anything for a deal...

That is hilarious. Thanks for the laugh:cheesy:

  2. At the Staples in Nashville, Tennesee we only showed up about 30 minutes early. There were only 20 people ahead of us about that time. The line grew longer as we waited but nothing like the lines I suspect were at Best Buy or Circuit City. This particular Staples is on Powell Avenue by itself across the street from 100 Oaks shopping center which is a practically dead shopping center.
  3. Not all stores in same city are that organized. Before we started going to this one closer to where my mother lives we were going to one that was way across town. It was a mad house. They had all the smaller doorbusters on one table and you had to fight the crowd to get what you want. This one has them distrubuted throughout the store. The other one in Cool Springs may have changed since then. Cool Springs also did not hand out tickets for the more expensive ones like the one on Powell Ave.
  4. Mine in Nashville, Tennessee handed out tickets as you were entering the store. They had a table set up in lobby. I've always gotten what I wanted at the Staples I shop at. I've only had to get there an hour early. I'm hoping that some of these big items are not going to attract a big crowd. I don't want to have to compete.
