Halloween still 50% off in the DFW area. What's going on? It was condensed down to half an aisle and Christmas on the other end.

Please tell me what strategy your husband used to negotiate! Our refrigerator has been slowly going out for the last five days. Repairman said yesterday it would be cheaper to replace it. I ran to Lowe's in Arlington, TX as soon as I read your post and found several fridges on clearance and scratch/dent. However, the sales rep said that the prices marked were as low as they could go. I found the one i want but it's about $200.00 out of my price range right now (had to have my car towed and repaired last week - nervous about the old addage of things happening in 3's). The original price was $999, marked $849. After a lengthy conversation he asked me to wait, made TWO phone calls and said he could take off 10% but couldn't go any lower, that would make to total price about $932 with tax and extended warranty. I need some guidance on how i can get him to go lower. They had probably 12-15 total refrigerators that were in this section of clearance and scratch/dent and the sales rep told me they had more of the clearance ones in the back just no room to put them out on the floor. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I haven't seen anything about a 52" projection TV on clearance but this one went on clearance Monday (2/11) for $499.00 and was sold out in my area (DFW) by Monday night!
