I was able to purchase a 2 year additional extended warranty, but it was $199.00. That is the flat rate for all plasmas. I was able to purchase it a week after purchasing the 42 plasma. I have yet to open mine, how is the picture quality? Is it ok, average, great, or very close to what we want an HDTV to look like? Thanks, Kraig
