I was surprised at how "unimportant" Friday has become in the grand scheme of things.

 

I mean the online sales started Tuesday and Wednesday nights and the good stuff was long gone by yesterday. And same with the in-store sales - they started Thursday and so it wasn't necessary to even shop on Friday at all.

 

Basically yesterday didn't feel like a "big day" like it used to when all the sales started that day.

 

It's called Black Friday, but now I know to expect to do my shopping well before Friday next year.

I think it was the Canon S410, although I'm not sure because I did a lot of searching. I don't see any real good deals now, so I'm just going to wait until a better deal shows up.

I just found the site through Google searching for a deal on a digital camera.
