Not going to do this, but saw 2 guys run a long extension cord from the restaurant that is next to the Best Buy and hook up a PS2 and a small tube tv. They even brought a small table to sit everything on. Since it might rain this year, I wish them the best of luck if they try it again.
Probably use a portable DVD player, IPOD and just hang out with friends.

That's pretty much it, but the A135-7403 special doorbster is the bundle that includes the Canon PIXMA MP210 (all-in-one photo printer, copier and scanner with ChromaLife100 and dual color gamut technologies). That slight change offers folks something extra, plus prevents price matching hounds and keeps folks from buying the night before. Really a good deal for a basic lite-use laptop. Needs an upgrade in the memory depot, then it'll be a great deal.
Good point about the printer, a $75 value on BB.com right now. And your right about the memory needing to be upgraded.

We spent hours this week researching what we could get for our buck and the sales, where they were and what the tv's looked like. We finally decided on the 42" Panasonic Plasma from Best Buy. The picture is incredible and Panasonic leads the way in Plasma's. My husband spent many hours looking up the lcd vs Plasma debate and the pros and cons.... and we are happy with the choice. Our other choice was the Sharp 42" at Circuit City for $799. The waulity on the panasonic looked better and there was no sharp 42" anywhere.. its an older model they are blowing out.
Keep in mind this Panasonic is an exlusive and not currently in stores. It differs from the actual model in stores now by the trim around the actual screen ( being mattte instead of glossy ) however we spoke with the Store Manager we know and he ensured and promised this was the same specs as the one in stores.
That said, we decided we will be getting it on Friday!

Leaning toward the 42" Plasma Panasonic as the 40" 1080P Samsung looks good, but if I choose the TV with out the installation the price only drops $50 to $1149. If I could cancel the installation after purchase and get a refund for just the value of the installation I could save $150, but not sure if that is even possible or has been done. Is it possible?
Anyone else have thoughts? Thanks in advance!!:)

What does everyone think?
Thinking about buying it, saw it as BB today at it looked great. The reviews on BB.com seem to very positive. But wish I could buy the package deal for $1199 and then get a refund for the installation as I am able to do that. Currently if you buy the TV with no installation all you save is $50, the price would be $1149:(. Would save another $150 if it is possible? Anyone know if this is possible?
Debating on buying the 42" 720P Panasonic instead. Any thoughts on which is better value/TV?

Wow that laptop will be a bigger seller. What do you suppose the reg retail is of that with the printer?
The printer is the Cannon MP210 can be bought on BB.com for $75. You can get a new one on ebay for around $30-35.

Here is the specs for the one on BB.com, the product code is off by one (listed below is Toshiba A135-S7404). Most likely it is the same one being offered on BF, BB has a habit of changing product codes by a couple numbers to stop price matching. Not sure if that is the case here.

Having a hard time deciding on two HDTV's from BB on BF. Do you think the 42" 720p Panasonic for $899 or the newly listed Samsung - 40" 1080p LN-T4066F SKU: 8251303 for $1199 ($700 off from BB.com price)? The Samsung is listed bestbuy.com/thanksgiving2jt.
I hear that you can not see the big gain from 720p to 1080p on anything larger than 50". Anyone have the Samsung LN-T4066F?

Had one last question. Bestbuy.com now has a bit more information on the 42" Samsung 1080P sale, it is $1,199 including installation. Has anyone ever purchased a TV from BB w/ installation and then cancel the installation to possibly get the refund? Not sure if it is possible, but I would rather save the money from installation.

Sears has a sale for this tv that reduced it from $1399.99 to $776.99 then another 10% off it if you use your Sears card. Here is the link, thinking about buying it but I do not have a Sears card to take advantage of the additional 10%. All the stores in my area are sold out, but you can buy it online at that price.
Nice deal, thinking about the 42" Panny at BB if I do not get this one.
Go to Sears.com, click the Electronics link in the 10% off section, then click on the picture of the Hitachi tv. Would post a link, but I have not been a member of this forum long enough.

Just spoke to my local Sears, they said the original price is $2,199-300 off for the sale and then another -500 off if purchased before noon. The final price they quoted is $1399 if you buy it before noon. They were not sure if the Sears card rebate can be used afterwards (below). If so it could give you back another $150.
