    Just an FYI

     

    I contacted :gd_phone: 6th ave before ordering the Panasonic Panasonic Viera TH42PX80U 42" 720p Plasma HDTV for $659 to find out more about the shipping, more specifically if they can give an exact date of shipment so I can take off. The outcome was that for 39.99 they are delivering the tv this Sat. with their truck :gdcar: instead of shipping through UPS (and arriving when ever). For this fee they bring the TV into the house (UPS was charging for this white glove service).

     

    The downside was the rep that I spoke to told me he couldn't honor the prefriday discount code. I got off the phone in disgust!!:curse:

     

    I called back gdangry4:: :gdno: (waited on hold another 30 mins) to be told that was ridiculous and the discount was honored. $846 (shipping, extended warranty and delivery) I am one happy camper and will have my tv this Saturday!!!:D

    well.... hmmmm, can't think of a good reason to give it to me but can't think of a reason for you to not give it to me.

     

    I've been a lurker for a few yrs but have been trying to get out of my shell lately!:yup:

     

    I've introduced at least a dozen people to this site, actually probably more since my entire office is always telling me about the deals they NOW find.

     

    I, like the the rest of the people reading this thread, am a very serious black friday shopper. This will be year 13 for me....

     

    Call me an addict but its as much for the deal/kill as it is for the adreneline rush!:eyepoppin

     

    If I win this shirt I will probably not make world peace, nor will I discover any cures for disease but I will proudly wear my 1x or 2x shirt as if it were world's best bargain hunter!

    Hey Mayor Jim, at my BB I've seen (for a couple of yrs now) the first few people online start an electronic list for the first 50 or so people online. Actually works very nicely.

     

    Last year, after BF, I was number 1 in line when the WII deliver were being sold. I personally kept the line in order. Seemed to make a big difference in the moral, as people came online I unofficially assigned numbers (didn't even let my sister cut the line since she showed up 2 hours after me). Also got BB manager to keep me updated so I could keep the line updated. (Think they remembered me from BF ????) :cheesy:

     

    I was voted Mayor of the day on our line and offered a job for crowd control by BB!!!

     

    ............gotta love the adreneline rush !

    Purchased 6 pair of jeans last night not knowing about the fs code or signing up for an email. Called cs just now to as for a courtesy and although she couldn't give me a $10 adjustment or free shipping on my current order, she did send me an email with a coupon for my next purchase (online or in the store).:)
