Look at the bottom line of the first page of the ad- while supplies last. Their website also clearly stated pricing in store may vary from on line. -

I'm pleasantly surprised. It's really good. We've got a Toshiba in our family room, sound isn't as good as the Toshiba but the picture is just as good I'd say -

I got to Walmart at 6am, was 5th in line. The electronics department manager came out and said they had 7, 1 Emerson and 6 Element. Now I'm assuming most of you are BF veterans........so my question is would you expect for Best Buy or any other big box retailer to let you order a $115.00 limited quantity 40" HD TV online? Of course not! Look, I'm not a Walmart apologist, in fact, I hate Walmart, but I knew if I wanted to get that great deal I'd have to traipse my behind to the store and wait in line and frankly I thought 6am would be too late based on the bargain price. The commotions displayed by the "non lucky 7" who got to the store around 8 to get in line were funny, sad, irrational, and 1 lady was downright scary with her tantrum.......I had a guy offer me $150 in the parking lot going to my car! TV is absolutely awesome for replacing my 8 year old Insignia and was well worth standing in line for. -
I got to Walmart this morning at 6, was 5th in line. The store got 7 of the TV's in, 6 of the Elements and 1 of the Emerson. I got 1 of the Elements units, which I put in my office, and it's a really good looking tv so far, way exceeding my expectations! It was funny to hear the people that got their at 8am complaining they didn't have more units. What were they expecting for the price they had on the things and the ad CLEARLY stated limited quantinties? A lady called corporate offices, another lady pitched a temper tantrum......funny thing is the 7 of us who got the TV's were all experienced BF shoppers and just smiled and watched the commotion behind us.

Last year was the 1st I've ever had problems with shipping. I ordered a necklace from Sears for my daughter (1 of their 1 day super duper deals), and they sent it via mail! No way to trace, etc and when I called they pretty much told me to go pound salt. We ordered ALOT from Kohl's on Thanksgiving night during their awesome sale, and 1 of the packages got lost. They bent over backwards to take care of the problem, substituted higher priced items for now out of stock items, and extended an addition discount for our inconvenience. We don't do the camp out thing anymore for BF, so most shopping is done on line. If anyone from Sears reads these posts, can you guess where we will and won't be ordering from this year?

Are you kidding? Yes, I work there part time, but a few deals are just awesome! The bird seed works out to under $3.00 per bag, and the patio heater is lower by far than I've ever seen anywhere.

No, you can't double dip extra discounts....for example, if something is marked on sale or clearance on the floor, you can take 1 additional discount....10% military, 10% moving. There's also a 5% discount or 18 months SAC if you use a Lowes charge.

I work at Lowes as a part time weekend warrior and can assure you they will honor the discount. Get there early for the really good buys....we definitely didn't get the amounts in we normally do unless more shows up in the next couple weeks

Does anyone other then me, think that Best Buy Ad isn't that great??

I'm kinda sad. It had become a tradition to camp at BB Thanksgiving night. Alot of memories good and bad about the experiences while "on the green mile" I can't believe that Staples looks like my destination early Friday.....just won't be the same. -
It's not every Saturday, but when they do, they normally will put tables in the middle aisles starting Friday nights, so the closer to 8am you get there, the better. Sometimes if the product still doesn't move on Saturday, they'll mark it down more on Sunday. There are no "stockrooms" in a Lowe's so they HAVE to move the discontinued stuff cause there's nowhere to put it!

I think I spend half of what I make, but you can't say no to some stuff. $150 faucets for $20 I got an Electrolux upright was $249 for $20.......it's crazy....and yes, we got some lined wicker baskets, but we paid $1, so ya got me on that one! lol

I work at Lowes part time on the weekends. Best times to get deals are Saturday mornings when the department managers can bring out clearance carts. The other time is before inventory- which varies from store to store. I have gotten deals you cannot believe! Best deal so far.....how about a new Fridgidaire side by side was $1,199 for $400. No employee discount, but I would have been embarrased to ask for it!

Some meatball tried that last year and not only had his ticket taken from him, but was escorted out of the store by security!
-
last year our BB had the "ticket" items(along with accesories) laid out in the car stereo installation bay, and you could get into that line whenever you wanted to by 11am. They had personal shoppers then take the tickets and get your items. At check out, we got offered a $40 discount on our purchase if we paid $10 for a rewards card, so we were well pleased with our experience there last year...we saved a ton of money. Wish they had more attractive mp3 prices this year though, we'll be headed to CC for the 1st time on BF
