Try monoprice.com about te same price all day everyday and u don't have to worry about mail-in rebate. You can get a 12' for about 10 to 15. I got all my cables and wall mount for 100. Just an idea.

The 50g10 is one I kinda have been looking at but the 54 would be nice... Since Im not in that big of a hurry I can wait it out for a good deal. Thanks for the help.

I think i like the plasma's better for some reason. I have a 50" lg 720p right now in the living room but wanted to jump up to 1080p and put the 720p in the bedroom.

just for the TV. will start on the home theater later. I have and old and by old i mean 10 years onkyo receiver and floor standing speaker.

I have about a $1500 dollar budget. Looking for at least a 50" 1080p. How far can I stretch my dollars. I really havent seen anything that looks good for BF. Anybody have any ideas or what I should look for to go on sale even after BF. Thanks
