I agree the tool prices are pretty good. The game tables look pretty good but overall I'm not too impressed with the Sears ad. I really didn't expect to be though, Sears just isn't typically big on my BF list. They just can't compete with BB CC and WM on kids stuff and electronics.

One thing I think will be a major sale is rear projection TVs for under $600. It is an older technolgy with the plasma and LCDs on everyone's list but still a 52 inch HDTV for $599 would raise eyebrows. I think last year the best deal was $899.

Our CC (kingsport,TN) had 21 of the bundles.
-
$211, Stayed pretty close to the 200 we had planned on.

Family wide we got (we hit 5 different Dallas area stores all at once)
48 Emachines 150 desktops
23 Toshiba 379 Laptop
60 512MB Sandisk mp3 players
62 Gateway Laptops
Going to bed. Will post more later!
Just so nobody overlooks the of black friday.

Circuit City
Gameboy Advanced Sp Bundle(with 2 different games we go the last one and the bundles didn't work out right)
Poloroid DVD player
2 PS2 Games $4.99
Nextech Blank DvD 50 pack
GE 5.8 ghz cordless phone
512 MB Sandisk MP3 Player
Terrible experience(no injuries or nothing like some have reported). Waited in checkout line from 5:30 to 9:00 only to find out about the GBA bundle situation. It took Heath(the slowest cashier in world) and 3 managers 30 more minutes to decide how to make good for the bundle games. Other lines were moving at a reasonable pace, but the one I was in was the only one to get the GBA bundle.

This is screwed up. 3 WM's in my area(within 40 mins of each other) all have different sales. I was disappointed about no plasma in the paper ad i got, checked online and sure enuff another WM in my area has it. The prices on Laptop varies by $100 sad thing is most ppl won't know it.

Northeast TN/Southwest VA(kingsport, johnson city, bristol) WM Laptop and Desktop $398. No 42 inch plasma

That is luck. Someone who post on GD bf fourms being there at the same time, that conversation took place.I just went to my walmart in N.C. and they handed me the same flyer with the laptops $378. When I was leaving an employee was telling the woman at the door to stop handing the flyers out because the price was wrong.

If this SBC thing is right. We seen the LOW PRICE version of the WM ad, wouldn't it be possible that we have seen the HIGH PRICE version of some of the other ads CC BB ect.

I am having trouble making out the mail in rebate offer on the 51" philips at CC. could someone please post it. THANK YOU.

Mara, I've used the Nextech DVD+r's and they are pretty decent out of the 50 you may get 2 coasters.
I'm thinking i gonna go for the philips 51 projection HDTV, it not being a doorbuster i should have no problem getting it.

I think they make their money in the advertisment they get. Sure the stores do not like their ads being leaked, but at the same time think about how many website hits they've had because of the ads being leaked. Not to mention people like us talking to family and friends about the deals.
-
MP3 player and let him get a few tunes from one of the online music services.
-
I agree, nothing has really jumped out at me. Hoping Circuit city comes out with some great deals(my fav bf store anyway). It almost makes you wonder if some of the ads are fakes. I'm sure they are all real, but they aren't spectacular.

Here is the one thats caught my eye, its pretty plain but stores alot of songs.Argosy 20GB MP3 Player - $99.99 AR at compusa

Not sure on sure on brand of CC tv last year, I'm sure it was an off brand.

Do you think Circuit City will match or beat its 42 inch HDTV for $699 it had for BF 2004? Right now the 51 inch Toshiba at Sears and BB are my best options.
