    Volunteers needed for next week (Primarily Wednesday through Friday)

    As those of you who've been around for past years know, the week of Black Friday we have a listing of all the Black Friday ad items that can be ordered online at the Black Friday ad prices at any given point in time.

     

    Of course those listings don't update themselves (believe me, we tried), so we always use a small army of volunteers who will have time during the week to update these items and help everyone out.

     

    So this is a call for those volunteers. If you are selected to help, you'll be assigned one or more stores that we have a Black Friday ad for and it will be your responsibility to check each item we have linked on the site and check a box if that item is in stock and available online at the sale price (or less).

     

    Not much experience needed - you need to know how to click a link to a product, verify the price and availability, and check or uncheck a box for that item, and then repeat for the entire ad for whatever store(s) you are assigned.

     

    You should be available to help throughout the week next week. If you can only help early in the week, we appreciate your offer, but we really need people that can at least check these a few times on Thursday and Friday when the most "action" happens with sale prices changing.

     

    These are volunteer spots, but anyone who helps out will get something for their help, likely a gift card. You'll also be helping out the huge number of shoppers who will visit the site next week.

     

    So if you are interested, please send me a PM and let me know your general availability for next week and I'll let you know if you've been chosen to help out. Also remind me if you've helped with this in the past.

    And for those of you who can't help with this project but still want to help the site, PLEASE spread the word about the Black Friday site to everyone you know - in person, on your Facebook page, Twitter account, other forums and web sites. Contact your local newspaper and TV stations - whatever you can do to help would be greatly appreciated! We don't ask for much, but we'd really love your help to get the word out.

    Just to let you all know about the T mobile, it is a mail in rebate to get the phone for free. They will charge you 200 and then you MAIL in the rebate for a refund. I just talke to them. Nope sorry I don't do rebates

    Drove by the BB in fayetteville nc around 6pm the line was around the building and still growing . Target which is next door had only about 10 people in line . Drove up to walmart ( 24 hr ) and we went in and walked around . There was hardly anyone there and this was about 6:40 . Saw the Tv's in the dairy isle LOL . Oh as a side note there was no walmart ad in my paper !!! I was sooo pissed off atleast I could see it on gotta deall

    Every years someone posts this thread so thought I would do it .

    How do you feel about people selling the door buster tickets to others for a profit . You know the ones , the people that get one ticket for everything then go seel them to others .

    The tv has to be HDTV. This is the second year DH has asked for it. My uncle has the older version and loves it so much he purchased a second. It you have an iPhone or iPad2, you can link it to the Apple TV. We will be able to lower the cable bill by using Netflix/Hulu through the Apple TV. :clapping:

    Yeah it says you can use your IPOD Iphone too . They have it on amazon for the same price and free shipping with prime . I think I'll get it there

    Missoni is a major Italian fashion brand, with their signature design being the zig zag. Their clothing pieces are mostly knitwear and expensive. Target has been teaming up with designers to create a specialty line for their stores (Like Liberty of London last year, Proenza-Schouler prior years) for a limited time.

     

    Just the availability of accessible designer clothing is what drives the demand. My Target was sold out of everything. It's going on eBay for a lot more right now. The Target website crashed yesterday with everyone trying to buy their items. Seriously, if your store had stuff after 12pm, you were lucky. Some stores had lines starting at 5:30am.

    Here in Fayetteville nc , plenty of stuff still there . I think it is way over priced for Target . I also think most of it is way to funky for me atleast the clothes .
