  1. Congrats on getting your Wii :) I got my system on christmas eve and went to 7 different vendors (Target, Ebx, etc) to get 3 wii remotes, 4 nunchucks, Super Swing Golf, and Super Monkey Ball. The Wii is deffinately alot of fun even though the graphics may not stack up to the Xbox 360 or PS3. My only problem is that I haven't had any luck setting up to connect online using a wireless connection. It found my Access Point but wouldn't connect and I gave up after several configuartion. I was wondering if anyone had any problems with connecting your Wii online using a wireless connection.
  2. Hey,

I was curious to see if there are any roundtrip airline tickets to go to Los Angeles leaving from Newark NJ or JFK NY. Last week I found roundtrip tickets for $232 but this week it went up to $323. We plan on departing on December 16th,2005 and coming back December 27th, 2005. I'm also a student in college so I don't know if there are any student discounts etc. Any savings would be great. Thanks!

  3. From my last internship at Panasonic I worked with home audio systems ranging from their mini systems to their AK series. I tested new models that were in development and models that were going to be release later that year. From my experience, when the system does not read the cd it was due to the optical pickup. When you insert a cd this device emits a laser light and if it gets an reflection from the cd then the mechanism continues processing and your cd with start spinning. If you feel confortable you can open your system and see if the lens (part of the optical pickup) has anything covering it. (i.e dust) This device will most likely be located beneath the cd tray once it's inserted into the system. It's pretty cool to see all the mechanisms at work with the lid off. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about something, I'm usually pretty bad at explaining things but is better at showing someone.
  4. Hi everyone,

I'm in the Chinese Student Organization at Stevens Tech in HOboken NJ. Chinese New Year is coming up and we have to host an event for the students on campus. I'm in charge of getting prizes :yelclap: and my budget is $300.00. I also want to set aside $50 for little prizes that we give out during the event. We have a raffle and I wanted to have 3 main prizes which is the Digital Camera, Mp3 Player, DVD player. Does anyone have any suggestions to which models I should get. The Norcent DVD player looks like a winner since it can playback DivX. For the MP3 Player, I'm looking for around 512mb in storage space/usb input. Any other suggestions for prizes is also welcomed. THe age group will be from 18-22. Thanks everyone :2roller:
