  1. Its the day before Black Friday and all the through the house, I am looking for Ads without my spouse. My Uncle has hid them as a usually rouse, to get me to beg for the those inserts to use. My cousins and I begin to look at all of the deals, oh what a steal. The lists begin to fly the planning has begun. Some will go south, north, east and west.. to hit all the stores including my spouse. Who gets the kids, each year its a game to keep them away from the mounds of things. By 10 am we are all at home, pens are clicking to see what we owe. I owe you ten dollars but what is this year, I picked up the latest gadget for you my dear. Twenty dollars it was you now owe me ten lets got through out lists all over again. The sun has now shown and dollars all cleared, its not time for Bed... Can't wait till next year.

Okay so its corny but we have this tradition. We go to my aunts each year and my uncle and I have this thing about the ads. He hides them on me each year and I have to go and search for them (even though I have usually bought my own paper). My cousins and I pour through the ads making list of all we want at each store. We divide the stores up and everyone gets what everyone else wants Then we come back to my aunts house and try to figure out what we each owe each other. I think my aunt and uncle get a bigger kick at watching us do this. The funniest part is passing the kids around. If one is going to a store that opens at 5 the person at the 6am opening has the kids and then the 5 am person comes and gets them from the 6am person so that the kids don't have a clue as to what we are buying. It is amazing we have not lost a kid yet.

Anyway... I am very dissapointed at most of the sales but I am sure I will be able to find some things.

    Have fun everyone!!

Rossman... Thanks for the Great Site and all the work that you do

  2. Just my 2 cents worth but... While I don't agree with Target's stance, I believe they are doing this as a precaution for their customers. I too make sure to give to the Salvation Army but in recent years their associates who have stood outside have become more and more agressive and making it very uncomfortable for me as a shopper. Last year one of the Salvation Army associates actually cursed at me at a Walmart because I said that I would give as soon as I came out of the store. Not only was this unprofessional but my children were with me and I did not appreciate having to explain to my young child what a word meant.

As Rossman said... You can always send a donation in vs. putting it in a bin.

  3. Hi Everyone. I have to tell you that I love my Kodak Camera. I truly don't know what the docking station does... because it is not the printer one. I know that it transfer from the docking to the printer but it is so easy from the camera that my 10 year old does it.
  4. Kodak Easyshare DX4530 Digital Camera with Docking Cradel 5.0 mega pixels 3x optical . 1.8" lcd 32mb intergrated memory $198

What are everyone thoughts on this camera. I currently have a Sony Digital Camera that takes the Diskettes. I really like my camera but want a new one. A Smaller one. This the one Wal-Mart has on special a good buy? Please help.

I have a Kodak 4.0 and I love it. It is easy to use and takes great pictures!

  5. IQuest for some cartridges that can never be found. So that the Kids next door can play the video game. Maybe Harry Potter will be 3rd in line. I will stay warm this year by bouncing on my pogo stick.

    I tried!!!

  6. Quite disappointing if you ask me. No Video Now Color!!! I was hoping the would also have their annual $.99 Playdoh for my little one too. Oh well... all I can hope is that some more things come down the pike over the next week.
  7. LeapFrog My First Leappad (40 % off)[/qoute]

Sorry! Have changed my mind to Leappad + Writing.

I agree with Brians Mommy, looks like I will be skipping TRU as well. Which is really weird because last year we got EVERYTHING from TRU on BF. That was the ONLY store I sent Chris to on his way into work.

So far Sears is the main store right now....there seems to be a lot more things for US this year than usual. we are trying to tone down the toys for the kids, realizing last year we got them WAY too many and there are only a few things they play with after all is said and done. So....more for us!

Who ever is buying the Leappad + Writing, just be careful. We had to have a fight with the Corporate office to get one that was working. My suggestion to you would be to take 4 AA batteries with you and tell them that due to the feedback you have researched that you would like to test it to make sure it works. Once you get a working machine it is fun for the kids... but It took me 4 tries with sending back to Leap Frog to get a working machine. There is nothing worse then giving a kid a toy even an educational one that doesn't work. If you want more specifics.. let me know
