Man, that sucks. I did the same thing you did, only I got to my BB @ 3:45, and was like 15th in line. When I didn't see the vid card on the shelves, I knew it had to be locked up. I ran for the exchange dept, and got the first card and left :/ Sorry to hear about your horrible story. If I were you, I would have gotten a laptop ticket as a bargaining chip. You still need to call corporate and tell them your story... if you're really serious about getting the card, just ask to talk to the next person up in chain of command if the person on the phone won't give you what you want

Got to BB @ 3 am, was going to be 40 in line... I just left. Got to compussr @ 3:45, was 15 in line. I got my 6800 :) and I was the very first person out the door... yay! I am missing my laptop though (

synthdude, that's awesome! I Didn't realize people started lining up that early. Are you in a heavily populated area? I'm wondering if people will be lining up at my BB that early..

I checked and I have an e-mail from Best Buy's lawyers dated 11/11 from last year, so we must have had the BB ads before that date, and I believe we had other stores first. I think Sears was the first ad to come out last year and it was in late October IIRC.

LOL! I'm new to getting the ads online... does this mean we won't be able to get the ads this year?

I'm going to be on the cellphone with my mom, who will probably be at CC (me at BB), just double checking to make sure that she understands exactly what to get and what not to get :) Don't you hate it when you send someone for a deal and they totally mess it up?

[Wearing anything special for BF?]

I live in Central Florida and it was HOT last year. This year Im gonna be about 36 weeks pregnant. I'll probably wear capris and a sleeveless shirt and comfy flip-flops. Or maybe not flip-flops, dont want to get my feet rolled over by crazy people who use their shopping carts as wepons.

I'm gonna wear shorts and a sleeveless shirt too. It might be cold here by the end of Nov, but you gotta have full-range-of-motion clothing for the sprints down the aisles!
