Thanks for posting the update. I was too late to cancel my order anyway, and at least I got the free Prime shipping from Amazon (and the confidence that it will actually be here by Christmas)

Me too! Some of the BF sales had them for 299.00, and I guess we won't see that price again, but I'm hoping someone will drop the price to 325 or 350 before Christmas.

399 seems to be Amazon's current price on the 16gb too. I hate having to guess whether someone is going to come down in price more before Christmas!

Or the 16gb one? I'm looking too.
