The PSP for that price was the $249 minus the $70 savings on the AOL GC deal. I would know b/c I did it three times... :)

WM Question
in 2005
I have seen people indicate that the laptops and other loss-leaders will be left out on pallets and the customers will have to run and fight for them. While I find this unlikely, it is Walmart we are talking about, so I wouldn't be surprised. Does anyone out there know if they are going to be using a ticket system like BB and CC or if they are actually going to incite riots by having people fight over the dozen or so laptops on a pallet? -
Do you plan to try to PM at WM? Because, from what I can see, the deal is at BB and not WM.The Kodak C360 for $129 would be a steal. On sale at Walmart for $244.54 right now according to Steve's Digicam.
If that price is right I will be in line as early as it takes. :)

Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for. The first line perfectly describes me... I'm looking for a pretty nice gift for the GF.

The majority of that looks like a press release to me...Here you go... from DPreview.
From what I can tell, only the first sentence serves as a review (and only a review of its features at that).

Does anyone know anything about that HP Photosmart E317 on sale at Walmart? I can't seem to find a review on it anywhere...

We'll see how well it works out. I just bought a $500 Walmart GC for $425 shipped. The guy has good feedback and he actually responded to the few negatives he has received (which indicates that he actually cares). Hopefully everything turns out OK for me because laptop here I come!

I got my call from Darth Vader last year :)

Let me also throw into the fray that the Toshiba will have a 4-cell rechargable battery whereas the HP has a 6-cell. So I would imagine you're looking at better battery life if you go with the HP, although I'm not sure about how the power consumption of the Intel and AMD chips compare.
Who is going for it again tommorow?
