  1. Does anyone know if the Samsung T-329 T-mobile pre paid cell will be on sell this black friday at Costco? The sales girl told me they had a bunch to put out but didn't know when? She thought they would run for around a $100 with a $25 airtime card included with the bundle. She wasn't sure if there would be a rebate. Target has this phone through today for $64.

My little girl:angel1: put her milk on my old Nokia:eek:. So I need to get a new one.

  2. The rules have now changed:

    General Questions

    Has this promotion changed?

Yes. Due to the incredible volume of traffic stemming from the popularity of this feature, we have made some changes to Amazon Customers Vote.

    What are the major changes?

You are eligible to buy only the deal that you voted for. Choose your deal carefully, because you will be eligible to receive a claim code for only the deal that you voted for. If you vote for the deal that gets the most votes in the end, you will be eligible to receive a claim code only for the winning deal. If you vote for one of the runner-up deals, you will be eligible to receive a claim code only for that deal, at the runner-up discount. (The runner-up discount won’t be as ridiculous as the winning discount, but it will still be pretty darn good.) Remember: as before, you can only vote once, and you cannot change your vote once you have made it.

You need an authorized credit card on your account. You will need to have an authorized credit card on file with Amazon.com in order to be eligible to receive a claim code. For Round 3, that means you must make sure you fulfill this requirement before voting closes. (You can read more about this in the Credit Card Authorization section.)

There is no more race to buy: the claim codes will be distributed only to randomly selected customers. There is an overwhelming demand for these great deals, and we want to ensure that all our customers have the same opportunity to get a claim code. We will randomly select a group of customers who voted for each item, and only those customers will receive a claim code to purchase that item at the Amazon Customers Vote discount during the 24-hour buying period. So you no longer have to worry about being at the site at a particular time of day to get a chance to purchase one of these great deals.

:holiday07 It is now by invitation only!!:holiday07

 How do I get to the Credit Card Authorization section?

  3. Way to stick it to the man! There's no real reason why they'd price match other items and not that SD card for you. Probably just caught the higher-ups in a bad mood on the worst day of the year. I would've suggested taking the ad and leaving to go to a different WalMart to get it price matched over there.

The next one is around 2hrs away.

Anyway I have an SD card again. Now I can take pictures of our new baby again.:)

  4. They discount a $40 game for me. GameStop had it for me. No question asked. Just looked at the ad and did it. Never had a price matching problem there (at Walmart)

I can only speak for myself. I had to fight for over 30 min to get them to price match for me. I would have walked away but we really needed the SD card since I lost the old one. I'll think twice about doing any more business with WalMart.

And Yes! I've had problems price matching with them before.

  5. :cheesy: Went to Walmart today to pricematch a 1 GB SanDisk SD card that OfficeMax had on sale for $12.99. Of course the sales clerk wouldn't do it for me without the ok of a manager. After a 15 min wait the CSM shows up. He says no. We don't match BLITZ items. He points to the ad and shows me where OfficeMax opened up at 5:00 am. He went on to tell me that this is the busiest sales day of the year. I told him I wanted to see it in writing where they don't price match on black friday. He told me that information is in corporate headquaters. Then they tried to sale me a different brand memory card that they had on sale for a similar price. I said NO! I want the SanDisk. So they got a higher up manager. She asked the clerk what the price difference was between the walmart and officemax SanDisk. When she saw it was close to a $30 difference she just laughed and said no way. So after arguing with her she said she would go in the back and talk to the head manasger. Then she laughed and said they probably would say no. After about 5min she came back and said I could have one and only one at the sale price. She told me they were going to bend the rules this time. So as I was leaving I gave my OfficeMax ad to two girls who were buyin the 1 GIG SanDisk SD card. I explained to them that walmart has a policy of pricematching other stores. Wish I could have seen the WalMart managers eyes. Again!!!
  6. :eyepoppin Got in line at our BB around 2:00 am and just made getting a ticket for the kodak c-360 that I was after. Suffered through rain and snow but it was well worth it. Drove home through a winter wonderland.

:D This year hoping for a 19 inch lcd monitor or maybe a laptop.

  7. if anyone's interested, here is a picture of what $35 will get you around here (yes, it's my tree, not done decorating but you get an idea of how big & full it is - ceiling is 9ft)

    Very Nice Tree!:g_thumbri

Anyone see the Christmas Vacation movie where The Griswalds go into the woods to get their tree. Now that is funny!:lolrun:

  8. I haven't seen any mention of the Gameboy SP's yet. Our Walmart only had 20 which shocked me. I wasn't surprised with the limited quantities on the desktop or laptop but I thought for sure they would have at least a 100 Gameboys.

Our Walmart had run out of them when me and my wife(2 months Pregnant:hearthrob ) and our little girl arrived after my overnight adventure at Best Buy. My wife was dissapointed! 20 min later while I was looking for rechargable batteries for our new C360 a sales person asked who wanted gameboy sp's. They had found 6 more. So a succesful day on my first black friday:D .

  9. :coffeetim Ok, heres the story on my first black friday. I left the house at 2:45am and arrived to Best Buy at 3:00 am with about 250 people in front of me. Started to rain about 3:15am.:cry2: With luck I had brought my umbrella. Around 4:00they passed out the vouchers. Of course the laptop and desktop computers went right away. I scored on of the C360 camera vouchers:) Thank God! Thats what I was after. After we got in the store at 5:00 it started to snow. When I was leaving someone rear ended the a car a couple rows over from me:gd_stars: Got home around 6:00 afte a police car warned me with his lights to slow down. Idiot almost caused me to spin out:mad: Anyway glad I decided not to stay home.:gd_steeri
  10. Click this link and then click "Protect Your Investment", select your state, and then "I Accept" button. When you get to the checkout page, just remove the protection plan and voila - purchase the camera. :D

EDITED: For me it says it's sold out, yet it almost let me complete the order anyway.. try it!

 I tried again and again this morning but all I got was that I had to go to the store to purchase. The page I got looked totally different. Not fair!

  11. That is one useful feature but I just use regular AA rechargeables from CostCo/Sam's Club.

Let's say you're in a remote Kenyan village with a 7 Eleven and they only sell alkaline batteries.

What if you're stuck with your PROPRIETARY LITHIUM ION batteries? Wouldn't that suck? Yes it would.

    AA for the win!

:clapping: The Kodak c360 at Costco comes with a docking station. Sure it's nice but at a cost of $200 is it worth it? I can get up in the morning and get the c360 at bb for $129. Hmmmmmm:homer:
  12. :2parrot:

ok i been staring at this thread for a while and im wondering on which is the best camera..

    Canon PowerShot A520 169.15 @ dell

    Kodak c360 129.99 @ bestbuy

    kodak z760 199.99 @ walmart

Willing to spend up to 200 on a dig cam but im just wondering what is best because this will be first digital camera i get for family. If there is a better deal i didn't mention please feel free to toss it in. THanks :)

For what it's worth I saw the c360 today at Costco. A really nice camera! A lot nicer than I thought it would be. Costco's came with a dock for the price of $199.

If I we're you I would either get the c360 at bb for $129.99 and add the 512MB SD card ($19.99 after $10 rebate). So $150 total.

Or for more money upgrade to the z760.
