All those who were dying to get their hands on a Xbox360 can now relax. I got pre-thanksgiving ads today and everyone says they 'll have 360s in their stores. This includes Target, CC, BB, CompUSA. The BB ad said they 'll have at least 20 complete systems and at least 10 core systems. So go get them this tuesday..... alas, i dont have a budget for that this year... oh, yah... the prices.. $399 for complete package and $299 for the core system.. happy gaming...

which again proves how bad the deals are this season. the stores are preparing the BF ads with pre-BF prices. since, most of the veteran BF shoppers are very unlikely to shop few weeks before BF, they hope nobody will notice....

i checked the Panasonic US site and couldnt find the dew detection thing described for this camcorder. if i dont see any other bad reviews for the panasonic camcorder, i am gonna buy that one from BB. cheers

the rumored 33% off on seiko, citizen, bulova watches at JCPenny is available online now for the same discounts... i was wondering, if they would give the 33% discount on top these prices they have now??

I was wondering, how do you support the costs for this site? With so much traffic near the BF days, the costs for the server and bandwidth must be making a big hole in your pockets... I wont mind if you include a small banner from Google or something on top of the website or if you wish, you can have a way for user donation through PayPal or something... iPods are definitely better products but you can let your kid start off with a cheaper player. I have no idea about the particular Phillips player you are talking about but non-ipod players have their own advantages, one of them being the ability to use subscription services like yahoo music and napster... where for $5-20 a month you get access to unlimited music that you can play on your mp3 player. for ipod the only options you have are to rip music off cds (which are expensive) or to buy music for 99c per track from the apple music store...

I dont think you really have to camp out for xbox360. Unless MS runs into some logistics or supply chain problems, they 'll have enough ready for thanksgiving... unless they want to postpone their release plan altogether till christmas talking about 360, which games are you planning to buy?? and since 360 is coming out, i guess there 'll be good deals on the old xbox making it a good gift to buy...

what does tw mean?? is it total weight... i never purchased any jewellery before... have to do it this time for fiancee... i have seen some places which claim to sell 1/4 ct and 1/2 ct tw diamond jewellery for less than 100 bucks.. i have even seen some less than 50 dollars... arey they good enough... are they real diamonds.... how do i know??? any help for this n00b here... please...

motoxmom, one thing you have to consider while buying a 10x zoom camera, a little shake of hand during a shot may distort your image a lot. i have even seen distortion in 4x zoom cameras when you are using the optical zoom to its full extent. so the conclusion is even if you buy a 10x zoom camera you wont be using the maximum zoom at all times. you might also consider buying a tripod for taking outdoor telephotos. some cameras like canon s1 have image stabilization, though i have no personal experience how well they work.... cheers

the ati 9000 is not good enough... look for at least 9200 or 9600... my sony laptop has ati radeon mobility 9200 and plays doom3 effortlessly.... if you dont mind spending money take a look at the alienware things... most of them carry a hefty price tag... if you know what you want then you can always go for other brands... i would suggest a processor of more than 1ghz, ram more than 512MB and video card of atleast 64mb-128mb... yes, pentium 4s would drain your laptop like anything... intel been fighting with the heat and power problem for a long time... (many of us dont realize but power and heat problems are one of the major challenges in designing microprocessors. not only the laptop ones but the desktop processors too)... cheers

I wanted the Sony HC40 in the beginning, but due to a tight budget later decided for the canon zr80. but now with this jvc gr-d22u which still is a minidv cam with 680k pixels and all regular features i am in a dilema... canon zr80 would be $300 at the least and if the bestbuy rumor comes out to be true, the jvc one would be $200.... lets see..
